Gas Works Park has a play area with a large play barn, and big hill popular for flying kites. Special park features include a sundial, and a beautiful view of Seattle.
Located on the north shore of Lake Union, the park has excellent water views and a spectacular, unobstructed view of the city skyline. It is a popular spot for concerts.
Walk all the way to the railing by the water and turn around. Catch the structure on the right and green hill on the left. Then go down to the lower level for a fantastic Panoramic Stitch opportunity.
look at the sundial at the top of the hill
Watch 4th of July fireworks!
Summer: skip work with a friend, sit on the grass & enjoy the view. When it Snows: bring a sled. At night: bring your sweetie & make out with a view

Find the sleepless in Seattle boat house!!
This place is gorgeous but toxic. Don't eat the dirt or go in the water (I've even been advised against wearing open-toed shoes here!)
from what I could see, all the boat tours swing by here
great place to go ice blocking!
Look out toward the direction of the water there's actually a pretty cool view in some areas.
Come watch the kites, ice block down the hill, bring a camera and a lunch. Stay a whole.
Always a great place to visit if you come into town. 4th of July is a must.
Bathroom is near the far east side (meridian Ave). Pack ur own soap. I've definitely been in worse bathrooms in Belltown
Gets very muddy and slippery after it rains!
Finish your run at the top of the hill like an eco-Rocky
Perfect place for the 4th of July fireworks! Nice place to enjoy the sunrise/sunset. Not far from U-district.
Go fly kites from top of the hill. Bonus points if you tangle lines with another kite and win.
Go at night, but not alone or too late, for a breathtaking view of Seattle.
Very unique walk up to the top. Lovely view.
Grab some food and enjoy the amazing view! If you can go on weekdays, way less people. Picnic areas and the grills are another great option to spend the day.
Beautiful view of Seattle skyline, day or night!
SO much parkour potential.
Great place for the pups to explore while you take in the sites. -Fernanda @ Lexus of Bellevue

Awesome view and the place where I won!!!
Tons of dog poop, but great views of the city.
The water looks inviting, but too much boat pollution
Make a daisy chain.
Remember your tripod if you want great night pictures!
We dare you to fly a kite on kite hill at Gas Works Park, enjoy a little people watching and then romp on and around the converted industrial structures.
One of the best views in Seattle. A photog-hipster must.
when you're done here, the Fremont troll is within walking distance
Watch out for large turd mines and the random homeless people.
Great place to fly a killer owl kite from Costco!
Panoramic view of Downtown Seattle and the Space Needle.
coolest place to hang out on a sunny day
The baby in one of the pictures is crying. Can you spot her?
If you have a little one or a dog, beware of the goose terds.
Pretty view of the city skyline, but watch out for dog poo in the grass.
Great view of the city. Quiet park.
The nation's crown jewel of adaptive reuse. The views from this park solidify Seattle's unofficial rank of most beautiful city in the USA.
