A unique park at the north end of Seattle's Lake Union. It was built on the site of an old coal gasification plant; many of the remnants of the plant are incorporated into the park. 19 acres of fun! Read more

Great views of the city. Gasworks is a hubbub of activity, with slackliners, yoga learners, dog walkers, picnic people, Frisbee players late into the night. It's a happy place.Watch for the goose poop

Walk all the way to the railing by the water and turn around. Catch the structure on the right and green hill on the left. Then go down to the lower level for a fantastic Panoramic Stitch opportunity.

Grab some food and enjoy the amazing view! If you can go on weekdays, way less people. Picnic areas and the grills are another great option to spend the day.

Amazing views on clear days of lake union and the skyline. Even on a cloudy or foggy day, the towers are very cool to see.

If you plan on using the bathrooms, bring your own paper towels. Park itself is weird but in a good way. Coming at night would not be advised. Enjoy!

Really awesome park with great views of Seattle. Fun to explore the nooks and crannies, but a shame you can't (legally) climb on anything!

Awesome spot for a sunset picnic, fireworks on Fourth of July, watching people fire dance, and having an any-weather bonfire under the covered pavilion.

This place is gorgeous but toxic. Don't eat the dirt or go in the water (I've even been advised against wearing open-toed shoes here!)

Don't go here for the 4th unless you park super far away, take the bus, or walk there. The traffic is a nightmare after the show!
