Honestly such a disappointment. Although the décor is exquisite, the food falls below average. I had the eggs a la Gemma (eggs benny) which was prepared bland and noticeably without passion.
Everything is excellent here, including the service!!
come for a celeb crowd and antipasti. The rest of the menu is mediocre. Get Peroni's, fritto misto (good deal at $15) and truffle fries. Once you've gawked, cross the street for drinks at the Wren.
Tortellini with spinach and ricotta in a sage and butter sauce was perfect to match the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. It's a shame the service was awful
Pizzas @ meatball
We come here every time we go to joes pub for a show and we always leave satisfied. Obviously get the pizza. The kale salad is also delicious.
The pesto fusilini was great!
The baked eggs make for a tasty breakfast, in a cosy surround.
Get in Truffle: eat the Focaccia Robiola.
Branzino roasted on cedar plank with sautéed garlic beans $25, prosciutto arugula pizza $15 & governors cucumber vodka cocktail &13
Pro Tip: eat at the bar. You miss out on people watching, but you are better for it due to good conversation w/the bartenders.
The service and food were very good.
Come for the sidewalk tables and people watching! Beautiful spot with Italian vibe. As for the food, 7/10.
Good food at reasonable prices
Get the meat and cheese plate, chefs assortment. Nothing too stinky. For $19 you get 4 meats and 2 cheeses, which would cost $60 if bought individually.
I've been here over 15 times. And that makes this probably my most visited restaurant in NYC. But with so many choices in this city, you know a place that's worth repeating is worth trying!
Easy local restaurant with a trendy scene. Food is just ok.
No shame in ordering bread and Nutella!
The hostess was the worst. Rude and incapable
The hostess was just incapable and rude. Service was slow.
Brunch here: A+
A little on the expensive side, but oh so worth it. The food here is incredible as is the experience! A must visit while visiting or living in NYC.
Great ambiance, polenta fries are great, as is chicken liver crostini and burrata. Try the spare ribs and scallop for main
Focaccia rubiola is delicious and the best version I can find of the dish now that da Ciro is closed
Recommend you to visit the bar at the back. I never order special house cocktails but they're different.. Love them all. Bit pricy compared to other bars
Sexy cocktails. I love this place.
Great spot for breakfast.
Great for a large group. Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Service is slow expect to be there a couple hours.
Polenta truffle fries & contadina pizza.
Perfect brunch spot.
For a true taste of Italy, try Milano Green Vodka 🍸
Decent food and price, nice and trendy ambiance, although it can get very loud when crowded.
Polenta is on point for breakfast.
Extra dirty martini.
Baked eggs and Burratta are fantastic
Only reason to come here is for the sidewalk seating or the weekend buzz. Gemma Salad belongs at Pizza Hut
Baked eggs for breakfast.
Not a good place for happy hour. They won't let you sit outside and just have drinks if you don't order food, which is cheaper than the drinks.
Mini Mini salads
Try the lamb!
This is a "be seen" place with lots of famous folks unpredictably in and out of the Bowery Hotel.
Always celebs here on Sunday morning brunch time:) good brunch not amazing great atmosphere usually long wait for table for brunch
Excellent food and service!
All Good! Food, Wine and Service! And the occasional celebrity!!!
Must have the Focaccia Robiola Pizza and the banana bread...absolutely amazing!
Having a good day? Having a bad day? Doesn't effing matter just come here and order the Fig and Berries cocktail!! WHABAM!!!
Eggs gemmma was the shiz!
