Came here for a birthday dinner. Quickly became one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city. Atmosphere is tough to beat. I usually try not to repeat restaurants, but this one is an exception!

Start with the truffle pizza and arugula salad and share the bolognese pasta and braised beef/polenta/kale dish for entrees. Skip dessert.

I used to be all about the salmon until I discovered the roast chicken. Big tip here is to ask for the house spicy oil, it elevates the chicken dish to the highest levels.

Not a good place for happy hour. They won't let you sit outside and just have drinks if you don't order food, which is cheaper than the drinks.
