Excellent steaks. Heart of philly!!!
Nothing special at all, seriously Jim's tastes 10x better. Just tasted like basic meat&bread here- and still $11!
I've only seen people eating cheese steaks
Cheesesteaks of course
Philadelphia Cheese steak
Great cheesesteaks but the employees are dicks.
There cheese steaks are the best in the world, no doubt!
Always get the fries!
Best in Philly
The CHEESESTEAK! What else?
It's a little out of the way, but if you're ever in Philadelphia it's worth making the detour for the super juicy "whiz wit" <3
Get the whiz wit
Taste of Philadelphia
Enjoy the original Philly-Cheesesteak, delicious!!!
You can't leave Philadelphia without deciding who makes the best cheesesteaks. Located across from Pat's King of Steaks, the two cheesesteak meccas have been competing for more than 40 years.
You need to know how to order it correctly, or else people will look at you funny.
Loved their onion, whiz& American cheese steak-sandwich. I highly recommend buying it and keeping wrapped for 20 mins or more (longer better) to let the flavor really soak in. Made a huge difference!
Perfect for a late night walk through the city.
World famous and delicious.
Pats is the real deal genos overrated,
Mostly for the tourists, this is one of Phillys big 3 Steak joints, and while tasty (especially with "Wiz" on it)it's still pales to the OG classics like Pats Steaks or "Jims" further uptown.
is a must in Philly add fries with chiz
A little light on the steak, but an excellent sandwich nevertheless.
Great cheesesteak sandwich! Outdoor seating only
Better than Pat's
Original Philly Steak wit or without....
Terrible tourist trap. Get a stomachache with a side of racism.
Fantastic American Cheese Steak, with Onions!
Num bom português: achei uma merda. Qualquer hot dog é mais gostoso - sem essa pegada irritantemente racista.
Choose pats instead. It tastes better and the staff isn't hateful
Did not know they had signs that says "speak English we are in America" I would have gone across the street. The sandwiches were not worth the trip from NYC. The onions were still raw. Meh
Whiz wit. Cash only. Served hot so be patient. Stuffing your face right after you get your hands on a steak will earn you a burnt mouth.
Whiz without, cheese fries and birch beer. Make sure you order in English
Don't let them intimidate you and don't worry about the people in line. They're probably too drunk to remember you.
チーズステーキ genos うます。
Decided to hit up a couple places on the way home... minor detour. #PhillyCheesesteaks
Bland taste. Breading is too much. No flavor to the mushrooms, onions, or even the steak.
Just stopped in Philly at Geno's for a real Philly cheesesteak... No biggie ;)
Just tried Pat's and Geno's for the first time. Pat's wins. The cheese is much better at Pats, there's more beef, it tastes better. Geno's is dry, kind of carby, barely grilled onions cafeteria food.
Cheesesteaks: Pat's vs Geno's--Geno's won. My biggest tip would be to wrap the whiz-wit for at least 5-10mins instead of having it immediately. Juices of the steak&melted whiz REALLY come together!
Too touristy, save your money for better food & service. You're not missing anything.
There are two long lines. Go across the street and get your cheesesteak from Pat's instead if you like chopped steaks instead of sliced like this.
Pat's vs. Geno's -- what'll it be?
Came from another state to experience the Hype, and honestly I was disappointed lol
