No indoor seating, but a nice bar to stand at, and nice, shaded outdoor benches; great place for your morning cup or to pick up beans.
  • Collette S.
Very small coffee shop that serves up delicious cold brew, lattes and other amazing espresso beverages!
  • Nate B.
Tucked out of the way, it's not as tourist-packed or bustling as other coffee hotspots in the area

Eater: "Once it gets warmer, they're not too high-minded to serve a "blended latte," which is essentially a frozen coffee drink."

My favorite coffee shop in New York. My usual is their regular old drip coffee which is fantastic, but if you have a few minutes, the pour over will blow your mind.

Gimme is so consistently good. They're one of the best roasters in the state. Their single origin coffees are so delicious as espresso.

Darn good cold brew, not acidic. They have soy and almond milk - and a bathroom!!!

Good, strong coffee in all shapes. Grab a cup and sit down in the garden right next to the cafe before heading back to Spring

Coffee on the go is all you can do here. Feel like coffee in a funnel as they usher you through quickly, in and out, move along please. It's a good cup though.

The cappuccino and Cortados look pretty, but taste weak and caramel flavors are too strong. Stick with the great cold brews.

Literally, the best espresso and cold brew coffee in all of NYC. Come here and have your taste buds blown away.

The coffee is really good. And the baristas are very engaging. But be prepared to just stand while drinking your coffee. The place is small but cozy.

Good coffee. They source their own beans. They'll even fill your growler with their daily cold brew.

Get the mocha and if it is nice outside, sit back and sip the deliciousness on the bench outside. Perfection.

There's a coffee drink here called the "Snowden". I didn't understand till I asked... "it's basically a coffee White Russian" says the barista.  Oh!  #RDRR

The baristas here are incredibly friendly, especially the Korean guy who says hi to everyone. Gimme also has my favorite latte in the city

The best Arnold Palmer in the area. If you get it with black tea it's great, if you get it with green tea it's stupendous, if you get it with peppermint tea your brain will explode with joy.

I know the idea of new coffee drinks is exciting "what's the Snowden!?", "ohhh coffee soda must be good". Don't be temped, stick with the classics.

Great mocha and good latte. They have brownies that are "stupid good." They also remade my coffee after it fell a few feet from their shop. Good guys, good coffee, good place.

These three things are trie. They will give you coffee. It will be good. It will take them a long time to make it.

Take a break from iced coffee and order the blended latte - it's like a milkshake with a shot of expresso. Yum.

They took away the trivia board because some people were apparently taking it a liiiiiittle too seriously. Grab a card out of the Trivial Pursuit box instead for your in-line entertainment.

They serve Dough doughnuts, which are amazing (and made in BK)! Coffee is cold brew so you might need a bit more milk if you're a softie.

The coffee here puts everyone else's to shame. If I could have it on tap at home - I'd be sipping while typing this. Don't forget to grab a sticker!

Yeah... The iced latte rules on a 90 degree day. Go for the premium roast for a sweeter fruitier taste; regular blend for a nutty chocolatey flavor.

Be prepared to have a discussion with the baristas regarding what mythical creature you'd be (if you could be a mythical creature). Popular answers: dragon, griffin, and care bear.

There's no seating space at this downtown outpost of the Ithaca favorite. So, while its a to-go only operation, it is still in the upper echelon of NYC coffee.

A great cup of joe in Soho. They have a wide range of coffee to choose from, or you can get a bag of your own to brew at home!

Comical grumpy barristas who cannot be talked into doubling their double shot. Order a shot ("uh, its already a double shot dude...") on the side and toss it in.

We live on the coffee from this shop. High octane, great service and really the only way to go when you want a great cup of java.

@thecoffeedaily turned me on to the Jampit java and i love it. Looks and tastes like molasses, mild on the acid yet finishes like a some kind of citrus chewing gum. No, it really does.

Great latte, but stick to the smaller size - the bigger one tend to be too milky, at least for me
