The Original Shrimp Truck serving the island since 1993.
Don't forget to tag your name on the infamous white truck! (My name by the driver's side window on the upper right hand corner!)
be ready to eat! every bite of the shrimp is worth it, also bring hand wipes, its sticky but good
giovanni's is definitely good :) haven't had it in a long time, but this summer i'll make the trek out there.
The shrimp is not from here.. It is bought from Indonesia, then shipped to Lps Angeles then Hawaii.. Yuck
Get the scampi!
try the garlic shrip
Get there at lunch, or they may be sold out.
Overrated. Super unhealthy shrimp in a dumpy setting. Head down the road to Romys for better shrimp and beautiful scenery.
This is THE ORIGINAL HAWAIIAN SHRIMP TRUCK. The rest are copy-cats! So good their original sauce is bottled and sold in stores :)
Try the scampi!
This place is a tourist trap! The shrimp is not fresh Kahuku shrimp, it's shipped frozen from the mainland. Go to Romeys instead, they are the only place that has fresh Kahuku shrimp.
The North Shore's shrimp "food truck", and it's been around much longer than the trendy food trucks in LA!
Be sure to say Aloha to Pat on Tuesdays.. he's the best manager
Garlic shrimp are tasty and messy! Come with shells on so you've got to peel them.
The shrimp scampi is really buttery and garlicky
Very good garlic shrimp. I do wish they had been de-shelled. Felt like I lost some of the garlic sauce when I pulled off the shells.
The shrimp scampi is a must! The hot and spicy is seriously spicy (even for a spicy lover like myself) so make sure you are ready for some tongue burning awesomeness and have some water on the side.
Took us some time to track it down, but SO worth it. The shrimp are massive, fresh and melt in your mouth. Garlic/lemon shrimp for sure.
We had the shrimp scampi! It was awesome.
Garlic shrimp scampi better than the spicy (tastes like Tabasco). BYOB and sit under the plumeria trees!
North Shore에 오면 들리시길^^ 자리부터 잡고
Expect a 1 hour+ wait. But get a corn on the cob at Woody's nearby and some shoyu poke from Kuhuku Superette while you wait!
what time it opens ? does this serve breakfast?
Bring cash, and lots of it; because that's all they take
Definitely get the free side of hot sauce. Great kick!
Awesome spicy shrimp!
Rice smothered in garlic = amazing
Get the scampish with garlic on your rice and hot sauce for dipping! I'd recommend draining the oil from the plate b4 digging in. Bon appetite!
The spicy is legit - no refunds! Ask for garlic on your rice.
Best shrimp scampi everrrr! If you allergic to shrimp, they got garlic hot dog w/ bun or rice smothered in garlic. Bring wet wipes!
Garlic butter scampi. So good. And so much of it. All the locals are there - so it must be the best!
Tried the shrimp scampi dish, it was ok. The garlic was pretty bitter. Mostly hype.
Shrimp is good. Try to go with another person, one of you can make the line for the shrimp while the other gets corn (which they sell in a stand close by and it's amazing) and get seats.
Unfortunately the secret is out and everyone knows about Giovanni's.
The scampi is the way to go. Full of delicious garliciness!
The best shrimp scampi ever!!! Must try!!!!
Glad you liked the mac salad Jessie.. What about the shrimp? talk to you soon..
Happy you enjoyed the scampi Veronica... Next time have the hot sauce on the side to kick it up a notch.....
As seen on TV! We hadddd to stop & try it 😁😁😁😁
Mac salad is really good
The scampi style is most popular. The hot and spicy is super hot and spicy so beware. They do offer half plates which are perfect size.
Hope you enjoyed Bre....
Garlic shrimp is the best.
Uhhhh the shrimp
O local é estranho mas vale a pena!!
Dica: peça o 1° com alho, é divino!!! O 2° com pimenta é impossível comer(too hot), o 3° com limão é gostosinho!!🍤
Muito bom o garlic shrimp vale muito a pena!!
