Gladstones offers delicious, fresh seafood and sweeping ocean views at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and the Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles. There’s no better restaurant on the beach to enjoy a meal, a Mai Tai or a sunset in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
Steak taco, views
We had ordered oysters, clam chowder, tuna tartare, grilled swordfish, blackened snapper & mac & cheese with bacon. One of the best meals I've ever had with incredible service. Angel is an angel.
Good place, amazing view, normal price , unlivable delicious food specialy home made bread 😍
Dinner with a view. Seafood is the highlight, obvi. Desserts are huge- share with 4 or more.
The fish and chips, actually just the fish, was absolutely the best I've ever had but it's also the most expensive. You have to pay for that million dollar view.
White clams, fish and chips and a virgin strawberry daiquiri 👌🏼👌🏼
As everyone else has said, great view and decent food. The lobster roll was the highlight and delicious. Sat adjacent to Rob Weinstein ... dude is a LOUD talker.
Awesome views, excellent service, so-so (to be kind) food.
They have live music and $4 mimosas on Sunday's!
Busy restaurant. Enjoy the sunset. One of the best seafood restaurants in the area! 8.5/10
Start with the seafood ceviche no matter what. Pro tip: come during happy hour and catch the sunset
Nothing like sitting on the ocean and eating yummy seafood!
Beautiful view on the patio, good service, average food. Conch chowder was just ok and rest of party agreed food was just decent. Valet parking for $7.
Originally opened in Santa Monica Canyon in 1972 as Gladstone's 4 Fish. Moved to its current location in 1981.
Definition of perfection
Yo kno it ight but it ain't worth the money however it have a gooda scene -Linda certified 6/10
Come for the bread and view.
Amazing with food allergies!!! Chef Jason Hanin came to talk to me about my allergies. The meal was absolutely amazing! I have never experienced that service at any other restaurant in the world!!!
Excellent for amazing seafood and sunset
Fresh, wild seafood paired with local beer.
Seviche is excellent here
Decent food, everyone says it's awful which is a fallacy, it's good, views fantastic, foods overprices, come for the view not for the food
All about the seafood. Crab, shrimp, catfish. Will cost some $$$. Real good food and the best part us you are on the beach.
Seafood and appetizers, steak.
Amazing view for a Sunday brunch
Steamed clams are back in season!
Margaritas taste even better at sunset.
$34 for pasta are you serious? Way overpriced food not what it used to be back in the day.
All I do is werk werk werk and twerk
Don't eat here
Try the spice crusted tuna it is heaven :)
Drinks are top notch.
Reservations are a good idea. Expect slow service and pricey food as it's a touristy place. Comfortable though and kid friendly.
Curried Coconut Shrimp. Yes.
Awesome view !

Raspberry cucumber fresh....yumm
Food is delicious! Ask for DJ. Super hot with luscious hair. He's a sorta clumsy but yummy;)
WAY too much money for weak drinks & bad food. Service was OK. Could have done without the pushy picture guy after we paid. It gets cold, but no heat lamps. Only plus was the ocean view. Never again.
Food is fine, a little expensive but the views were absolutely breathtaking! Sit outside on the deck for the best view & breeze. If you're looking for a big view w a little dinner this is the spot!
Clam chowder is decent. On average, food was disappointing. I much prefer Duke's, which is much cheaper with similar views.
I come here for the clam chowder.
Strawberry lemonade, calamari, and macadamia rock shrimp! =)
The pesto shrimp flatbread is to die for, top it off w the Sunset Beach Tea! Delish!
Amazing tomato soup!
Try to eat outside but even inside you have a beautiful view of the pacific!
Don't order the crab roll. It's canned, and super salty. Stick with a bowl of soup, some bread and a beer and you won't leave furious.
fun. and yum.
Manhattan Fish Chowder is magnificent!
