Had a great experience here! Ordered Fish & Chips w/a delicious Golden Road Brown Ale & she brought it out in less than 10 min! Good food, fast service! I felt like I won the lottery! Recommend!
Cut the line of families waiting to be seated and go directly to the bar. Prepare to be upsold to a double Bloody Mary. They give you a whole bottle of Worcester to operate with. Enjoy your flight.
Wow, you guys... I loved my breakfast here! It was huge and delicious! Breakfast burrito, baby! Do it. Server was great. However, the cappuccino was appalling. Stick to percolated coffee if desperate.
Nice , fast service our server Marquitt was very friendly & chill. , tasty bacon , the potatoes o' Brian were missing the o'brain. Be carful it gets pricy quick when you start adding side dishes.
While the Lonely Planet rates Gladstone's as LAX's primary singles bar, it neglected to mention that it meant cheese singles. This is great news for burgers, bad news for tempestuous airport romance
While most will find their disrespect for accurate geographic information(see pic) & quirky labelling of highly populated areas with food names charming. It's hard to ignore a cannibalistic undertone
Double vodka soda for $12. Can't complain for airport prices. Only bar here and the bartender was awesome. Didn't try to food thanks to all the scary reviews. My vodka was fantastic though!
The burger was passable, the service fast and friendly. They brought a nice cookie with the kids meal. Husband enjoyed the fish tacos. Watch out for how huge the calamari appetizer is.
Gladstone: if you do a 10% off promotion on foursquare, inform your waiters and the manager about it - explain them what foursquare is to avoid the question if I "have that discount on paper" LOL
Tried the food this time. Breakfast burrito with potatoes O'Brien. Not sure what everyone was complaining about. Great service and for airport food - pretty tasty.
We ate here, service was fast and food was good. Not sure what all the other reviews are about, but we liked it. And it beats sitting in BK or Starbucks.
Server was nice enough to warn me the sushi isn't good or fresh, informed me the fish with two sides is (specifically rice & veggies). Huge proportion and actually pretty good.
Okay so I was scared after reading the comments but really wanted a glass of wine and to watch the Final Four bball game. Pleasantly surprised. Penne puttanesca was spicy and good! 👍
There are drinks and good fish. It’s a bit fancier fare than your average airport restaurant or bar, but it’s perfect if you’re into that and have the time.
Instead of waiting in the long Starbucks line, you can get pretty decent coffee here to go. Probably need to use the milk from Starbucks counter but this will save you lots time
The fish tacos weren't that bad, especially given the setting. Lots of cholula and decent black beans with queso fresco. Then again, I was starving and could have eaten the ass off a rhinoceros.
Sushi *gack* is south of fresh. Greasy fried food. Cup of chowder and fries might be the best bet here. Shrimp cocktail edible, like a Costco platter. Get the 9oz. pour of wine. Booze too expensive.
The chowder wasn't THAT bad (& I'm from New England). Here's a tip to make the burger better--> sprinkle tabasco on the bottom bun itself so it soaks in. Then add cole slaw on top of the burger. Boom.
As someone very hungry, my service was decent and my burger was edible. (Certainly better than Burger King and larger than Starbucks, which are your other terminal choices.)
Service was good as was the breakfast burrito. Worth $15? Prolly not. But it's early, not much open and I'm hungry. Plus if you douse anything in Cholula it's bound to be good.
$14.50 for a glass of mass-produced Pinot Grigio. Admittedly, a large glass, but still outrageous. Not super high quality food, either. Good service, though.
Beer is cold. After reading the tips I was afraid to order anything but beer and fries. Fries are probably better at bk. Our waitress was nice and quick.
Assuming you're expensing this meal, the $17 tuna melt is the only edible item (as the only non BK restaurant in the Virgin Terminal, I've struck out here many times). If you're paying, go to BK.
