This hotel rocks for the price you pay. It is a 4 star hotel at a 3 star price. With awesome rooms and a great pool. Great for the person who loves Vegas but wants to be off the strip!

If you stay at the Golden Nugget, it is well worth the money to reserve a chaise lounge in The Hideout pool area. $20 gets you a reserved chaise from 10am to 5pm. There is also a bar poolside up there

Happy hours in the hotel are great! Grotto has an enormous $7 pizza and it's delicious! Drinks are well, but a $5 martini is a steal compared to anywhere on the strip. Chart House has great ambiance.

The BEST casino downtown. The rooms are mediocre but the dealers/girls are beyond sexy and nice. Dupars has great food and shrimp cocktail for cheap. In my opinion, eat and play but don't stay.
