The place to workout for anyone and everyone who lives in Capitol Hill.
Wear good earbuds (ie not the ones that came with your iPod) so you don't have to hear the crappy top 40 dance music.
Try to avoid Thursday evenings- everyone and their mum are preemptively attempting to work off the keg they are about to consume during the upcoming weekend.
Plug in your ipod or watch tv while on the cardio machines upstairs.
When lifting, watch out for the tan guy in the camo tanktop (about 5'10") - looks like a monkey - he clusters a piece of equipment for up to 40 minutes
Lift big or go home!
Careful when washing your hands. If you turn the sink even slightly towards Hot, something akin to molten lava comes out.
Katie is the best trainer.
Best gym around. Clean club and lots of equipment. Rarely is it busy and all the cario machines have TV's on them... awesome!
Just found out today that they don't have any ankle straps for leg work on the cables. Apparently you have to stick your foot in a handle and use that... :/
Your music is better than what is playing. Always.
Be kind and share
Close the shaker bottle prior to shaking.
Curling in the squat rack= prohibited. Squatting in the curl rack= allowed.
Take advantage of all the awesome classes they offer!
Can drop in without membership for a fee. They sometimes offer one week trials.
Currently expanding, for bigger gainz.
Helllla queer. <3
Creatine, safer than toast.
Better to go in the morning, it gets pretty crowded in the evening and stuffy sometimes
A/c sucks during the summer and not a good place for power or Olympic lifting
When doing isolation movements work both sides equally. - always be a meathead
Deadlifters welcome from Planet Fitness
The gym is well stocked, but you're likely to spend half your workout setting up weights because they aren't put away properly.
Friendly staff and clean facilities
Gym is convenient...
does anybody know how much this gym costs per month with initiation fee, they refuse to tell me over the phone
Not a bad gym but they would be better if they had dumbells in 2.5 lb increments instead of just 5
