MERS Missouri Goodwill retail stores offer a convenient way for members of our community to easily donate their unneeded items so they can be turned into a great deal for shoppers interested in a thrift store adventure.
There are creatures that live above the building by the parking lot. Maybe a pterodactyl.
You pay per pound. $.79 per pound for everything but books and glass ($.39 per pound)
RFT 2012 Best of St. Louis Winner - Best Junk Store- Get serious about junking & bring your gloves! http://bit.ly/RTRJtL
Watch out for the Pteradactyl!
Come early. Easier to get through the stuff. Great place to find clothes for resale.
Lots of crap (in a bad way). Great place to poop though.
Run away from the new bins...it's not worth it. No grown person should ever act that way!
I was less worried about the pterodactyl outside than contracting some weird disease by touching the items in this disorganized store. I think it's fair to be terrified when employees wear face masks.
And I thought Black Friday was bad! And yes, I hear the pterodactyls, too.
Scary place...watch out when they bring new carts out...vultures
This location doesn't accept donations.
Its totally great except for the vultures. They will push you down and steal your stuff. But if you avoid the new carts, its a smooth venture.
Bring gloves....only found a couple things though
Beware of the shoe bins!
If you're new to STL and need to get some home furnishings for a low price you can find them here. Be sure to arrive early though, rumor has it the good stuff is brought in in the morning.
watch out for surprise undies!
This place has gotten so gross! Die hard Junksters sitting on the side eating lunch. ew ew ew ew.
If you have nothing better to do with your time or like digging through garbage, stop here...they should just have garbage dumpsters for you to dig through...
I saw the vultures and heard the pterodactyl... Been there... Done that...
I like looking for a good deal but this place is so gross. It's like digging through a garbage dump!
Ever wonder what happens to all the crap left behind when homes get abandoned? It all goes in these bins. Lunchboxes with food in them, cans of cooking spray. This isn't shopping, it's an adventure!
Come early and often. The best find is usually the accidental one.
Everything is in bins even the clothes mixed with other crap! Not worth the search
I would prefer a regular store. This Goodwill isn't for teenagers. Smh, they charge 79 cents per proud of clothes though.
Either come really prepared or with a lot of time on your hands
The prices are awesome but since nothings washed you're pretty much sifting through baby puke-covered (and God knows what else) clothing the whole time.
