Definitely worth a quick peek in to see the architecture, and you'll probably recognize it from at least one movie!!

Probably the best train station in the world. I am biased though.

Nice hub, you can go from here to everywhere.

Such a better travel experience than Penn Station. If you must take a picture of the ceiling, at least move to the side.

Stop. Look around. Take some time to admire the architecture, as well as noticing the people dashing around.

In the heart of the city; always busy and always crowded. Very big hub for both N and S bounds. Very touristic. Good restaurants are available inside. Metro stops as well other than intercity trains.

A free (and excellent) walking tour leaves every Friday at 12:30pm across the street in the atrium of 120 Park. Goes over the history and architecture of the Grand Central area.

I highly recommend the Audio Tour which is only $5 or included with most city passes. It does a great job of explaining everything around the terminal (and why it's not a station)

Best place to buy tickets is under the West Balcony across from track 30. Much shorter lines and lots of machines.

Do you know there is Tennis court on one of the floors of Grand Central? Maybe the 4th floor? Open to the public. Vanderbilt courts of something. Courts are affordable by 10pm.
