The huge water fountain in the lobby is a mixed blessing. Looks sweet, but the entire place smells of chlorine.

Guest rooms are nice and renovated, but the lobby is all 80s with unattractive marble and brass. It looks dated and nasty.

    Addison the concierge is awesome!

    Jeanne Wang F. · January 12, 2012

Fantastic hotel. Wonderful room too. But I can't say that with great confidence because I'm staying in a two room suite with three bathrooms and a doorbell ;)

If one arrives at 4 pm and is told room won't be ready till 5 pm or 530 pm, "3 pm check-in" becomes an abstract concept to be pondered while waiting in an increasingly blind rage.

Kimu at Concierge services is awesome. She was so nice to my daughter!

1 of the best locations! Within walking distance to China Town, fashion retails, couple decent DC night clubs. N who doesn't appreciate a lil bit of luxurious staycation once in awhile? I noe i do.

TeamTRI Tip: Great hotel! Water pressure in shower phenomenal and will be missed. Call early for valet..they are busy and service can take 10-15 minutes.

    Ryan U. · January 22, 2011
  • Melissa L.

Very friendly staff and gorgeous facility, however charging $10 a day, per device, for wifi when you pay $300+ a night is ridiculous. Come on Hyatt, stop being greedy.

    Melissa L. · November 15, 2013
  • Robert W.

Internet is free if you like them on Facebook or give then a review on tripadvisor. Kind of a pita in practice.

The breakfast buffet is pricey at $19-$20, but if you're hungry it's well worth it. Everything from homemade muffins to omelettes

If you're staying here, spend time with the great decor. Thinking about redesigning your condo or apt, check out what the Hyatt has for sale. I love the chandeliers.

Pros: Convienience. Cons: Not only is the internet not free, it is throttled unless you pay a higher price. There are other annoyances that make me question the room rates. The bed is nice though.

Do not expect there to be a room here if you don't check in. They tried to send me elsewhere when I checked in late. Guess they have trouble "holding"'the reservation. Last time i stay here.
