One of the best restaurants to go to eat. They have a variety of foods to choose from like different pastas to a nice juicy burger. The service you receive is good and they make you feel at home.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger & chicken pot pie- was good enough for two. The beignets were fantastic; they take awhile to make, so order w/ your main dishes. Overall nice time, not incredible though

I don't care that it's a chain owned by the Cheesecake Factory. The views of Michigan Ave are great, as are the snacks and the cocktails. Perfect place to stop for a bite on a shopping day.
    Corinna P · February 28, 2012
  • Lauren-Ashley B.
Very affordable, huge portions, you always end up taking some home. The chicken pot pie is great and the salads are really good. The best seats are by the windows looking out on N. Michigan ave.
    Lauren-Ashley Barnes · November 5, 2011

Nice place, lots of options and big portion sizes. If you want specific desserts order them with your entree because they cook them fresh (takes about 30 mins). Cocktails are very yummy too.
    Jessica Weiss · June 30, 2015
This is a carbon copy of The Cheesecake Factory. If your from out of town, skip it. Eat in the bar to avoid the wait. Spinich artichoke dip, Miso salmon, & Molten chocolate cake were all delicious! · February 19, 2011
  • Neil R.
It's a tourist attraction, so judge for yourself if that's a pro or a con. However! The serving staff is wonderful, the food is prepared from scratch, and the meals taste great. Kid-friendly.
    Neil Renicker · January 18, 2015

On the negative side: Way too many options. On the plus side, everything's tasty. Similar to the cheesecake Factory.GLC, however is extremely modern, with beautiful decor & amazing views of the city.

Seafood menu is good, awesome view overlooking michigan ave esp in the winter. Crowded, wait time 20mins. The floor was dirty, almost fell on my way to the bathroom. Valet parking $15 for 3 hrs.

The black lady upstairs that took our names on her computer wasnt very friendly at all. I wouldve walked out but my wife wanted to really try out their food. I wont go back again. Cheesecake is better

Always order the chocolate chip cookies as soon as you sit down to order with the intent to them take to go. They take 20 to 25 minutes to prepare. They are well worth it.

Good service, excellent food and excellent quality/price ratio! Deco of the dinning room is stylish in a way! Home wine is really acceptable .

This place truly is the definition of excess! From the trendy N Michigan Avenue address to the grandeur of the design (don't forget the extensive menu) Definitely a must!

If you are visiting Chicago, ask for a Michigan Ave window seat.. There may be a wait, but you'll have a great spot! Also, their brunch menu is pretty good on a Saturday morning :)
    Rebecca S. · April 12, 2011

Order the Pasta Telephono. Not cheap, but pretty standard for Mag Mile. Excellent service. Not a lot of choices for vegetarians. There will be a significant wait time on weekends.
    Bridget Llewellyn · October 31, 2012
  • Lee F.
I know this is simple, but for some reason just their plain old coffee is very good. I did like the hummus however as a small appetizer for someone who prefers lunch over breakfast.
    Lee Forkenbrock · February 20, 2012
  • Casey M.
Very disappointing. Service slow. Get coffee, had to ask for sugar multiple times. Lunch finally comes out and the waiter asks us if we want dessert. Restaurant wasn't busy. Food was good though.
    Casey McGee · October 31, 2015
  • Brianna T.
Food was too good. The sausages were amazing & so was the Grapefruit juice. but if you need to use the bathroom, go super early. the women's line is usually out the door
    Brianna TaShawn · December 1, 2013

A seat by the windows is a great people watching spot! We've seen so many brides taking their wedding photos on Michigan ave! And not to mention the pretty chirstmas lights :)

You can't go wrong with this restaurant! The menu has a little of everything, even for the pickiest eaters. Just keep in mind they don't take reservations!
    Emily Dobbins · July 8, 2013

Portions huge, chicken Marsala is delish, all desserts, wonderful. All the smoothie-type drinks are good. Long, long wait on weekends. Make reservations if you can.

The beignets which come with three sauces (including a Jack Daniels vanilla cream) are light, crisp and beyond delicious.

Good price and huge plates. Dont go here when it s crowded. Ask a table where you can see the street. Order a cup of tea while you eat your desert

Lunch sized portions are insanely big! Try the pasta fresca with eggplant and basil. Oh and make sure to order dessert at least 45 minutes in advance.

Huge variety of food, will be delicious no matter what you get! Great salads and enchiladas for a decent lunch price. Awesome & quick service!

You can never go wrong here because the menu is so vast! Make sure you asked to be seated in the "rotunda room" with a window seat of Michigan Ave

Buffalo wraps as an appetizer was great; just enough zing! Salmon is zesty and Awe Mazing! Oh,fresh mojitos to compliment this savory meal

After complaining to the manager that I never received my meal he had the nerve to say that I was being condescending he also told me I was being a bully. Will NEVER return here.

Order the Buffalo Chicken Rolls or the Volcano Shrimp appetizers. So delicious! Such a great value on the entrees - you get a lot of food.

Their caramel macchiatos are out of this world. And get a seat in the window to people watch

Try the beignets! Not New Orleans style, as advertised, but very light and airy. Delish! And the dipping sauces made a nice complement.

They ran my credit card twice at the bar and asked to sign both receipts. They also did this for the food order in the restaurant. I won't g back there EVER,

The spicy Bloody Mary is fantastic! If possible, get a table for two in the atrium by the window. It's worth the extra wait.

Wow - they have got to fix their seating process. Total chaos - very poorly organized with people that are supposed to be seated standing all over. Bad first experience :(

Hummus is incredible. Very large portions deserts most you have to order when you get your main course to be ready in time.

The peach cobbler dessert was great! Had the mushroom burger entree...okay but I probably wouldn't try another vegetarian option of theirs :-/

The crab and asparagus omelette was delicious. Not heavy with cheese or sauce, so the flavors really popped. And great coffee!
