Vancouver’s art and culture experience, Granville Island offers the very best in unique shopping, dining and entertainment.
A must see place! Ride your bike in for ease.
Love this place you have to visit if you are in Vancouver. Lots of art shops, the public market, seafood and just beautiful views!!!
A must visit for everyone who goes to vancouver
The public market on Granville Island is full of amazing fresh seafood, baked goods, delicious smells and must be experienced. Assume an elbows-out posture as it will be crowded.
The craft sake shop is a must go to spot!
Ferry on over and hit the great shops and bars. Great local brews and tight bites.
Artist village, giant food court, fresh produce, pastry shops, weaving studio, and artisan sake shop. No matter you are looking for, this is where you want to be. Great place to hangout on a sunny day
One of my favourite spots in Vancouver to hangout on a beautiful day. Watch live entertainment outdoors, feed the seagulls, get some espresso and a pastry from Terra Breads. Smell the sea water!
Skip the big meal and fill up on some small bites from stalls at the Public Market instead.
Take the little puddle jumper ferry boat over; insane how much they charge for the ride!
Very nice area on water. Visit the Public Market. Buy live lobster at Lobsterman
Perfect way to spend 1/2 a day. Stop by the public market to get some delish food. Nice galleries and nice shops to pick up gifts.
An awesome place to spend a day. Lots of crafts, sights, and an unreal food market. Absolute must see if you're in Vancouver.
Make s sunny day of fun with the family going through both markets, catch a few live shows, and enjoy the water park!
Great place for dinner prep
Sunday parking is an issue. $10.50 for 3hours.
On a beautiful day. A wonderful place to visit and walk around. Stuff there is quite expensive though.
Our Sea Studio is right in the heart of Granville Island!
Great playground at the Community Centre on the Island.
Tourist trap on the level of Navy Pier in Chicago and Pier 39 in San Francisco. Ugh. Save your time and go somewhere else!
Skip the restaurants for lunch. Head to the public market, which features food as diverse as Vancouver. Grab a table or bench on the dock and enjoy.
The lemon sorbet is the best you'll ever taste.
No matter how hot it may be, the water is still freezing. The kids don't seem to mind, though.
Get here early to score a grassy patch by the fountains or playground
riding a water bike
Whet is still fairly new - Used to be Sammy J Peppers - The patio and seafood make it a MUST do experience!
Great place to have fun went their to work on friday night on the burrard queen and it was gorgeous their. I plan on going back soon.
It's a peninsula!
Go to The Stock Market for the Best Soup.
Pretty nice place!
Best place to spend a saturday afternoon.!! try the granville island market, Whet, granville island brewing, The Keg and Bridges restaurants for dinner and the dockside restaurant for breakfast..
The water is always cold! The lines for the water slide can be long - but hey it's free & fun
Warning! No brunch served anywhere on Canada Day
The newly updates silver slide is causing some problems. Be careful.
Check out the Dockside Restaurant in the Granville Island Hotel: Foursquare and twitter specials aplenty: http://foursquare.com/venue/115584
The Island picks you, you don't pick the Island.
Lovely arty area with great shops and vibe!!
A must. Love the market and also the arts neighbourhood. First-class singing buskers too.
A beautiful market. Busy on weekends; parking not the greates; but worth it. I always bring home some cheeses and fresh pastas, and make sure I have a JJBean latte on teh way out.
Go to the market and take pictures of all the yummy food that you would like to buy. It improves your photography skills with the different lights, etc and it's fun.
Curry 2 U... Garlic Naan and Rice Bowl.
Много интересных аутентичных магазинчиков, но цены не низкие!
