Mhm, this is a good spot. Not on the popular side of Manhattan but it makes good business. The nice thin dogs on the buns! Mm, that's good! Good deals, good food. Just that it has no where to sit. :(

This relentlessly yellow hot dog joint hops 24 hours a day and is a symbol of Upper West Side cheap eats. Mustard is pretty much required; the only dilemma is choosing between the onions or the kraut.

Friendly Filipino staff tonight! A filipino station was playing on the radio lol. Hotdogs were okay and piña colada as well as coconut champagne were a little too sweet. But I'm glad we tried it!

Gray's opened in 1972. Has no place to sit but the turnover is quick. Gray's is featured in films such as 1997 "Fools Rush In" and 1993 Michael J Fox film "For Love or Money." More info in blog.<LINK> Read more

The remainder of what once was a city-wide institution. 2 dogs and a drink for under $5. Well prepared dogs and signature fruit juices. Good cheap meal in an overly expensive city.

Heard of Gray's Papaya in a movie - You've Got Mail, Die Hard & Fools Rush In. These dogs are a great deal: $4.95 recession special gets you 2 beef frankfurters & any of their fruit drinks.

Simplicity at it's best, folks. Pretty much defines a NYC hot dog for me. Snappy, flavorful, simple, highly affordable, and quick. So how can you say bad things about GP?

Great $5.49 special two #hotdog and a juice but go only with sauerkraut, onion, ketchup and mustard! Don't do the chili, like I do!

Don't eat more than one if you are goin to be with someone in an enclosed space for awhile afterward. The hot dogs without the buns are actually gluten free!

Over-rated. The hot dogs are small and not as flavorful as everyone makes them out to be. Value-wise: you get what you pay for.
