People tend to check in during these times:
Box office open from 10:30-6 Monday to Friday plus on show nights
The upstairs restrooms are past the bar to the right and usually have a shorter line.
great, small venue!
If you can get a seat downstairs, do that. It's hard to see from the balcony unless you're in the front row. Beautiful historic building!
Sketchy location but i love the inside. It also has good acoustics
Beautiful, intimate venue. Easily one of the best venues in SF.
Very cozy venue
One of my favorite concert venues in the city. Definitely go here if you haven't, and even if you have!
Super friendly, helpful employees. Great intimate place to see great bands cheaply.
Don't buy a ticket that includes a meal. They forget about shit
After the show, head to Whiskey Thieves or Edinburgh Castle to keep the party going.
Another great SF venue with good sound. Don't tell people about the secret upstairs bar and bathroom.
great balcony view. the upstairs toilets are nicer than downstairs and theres usually no line.
No love for designated drivers. Four dollars for a club soda. Thanks assholes.
Best sound quality in SF.
One of the more beautiful music venues in SF. It can get very hot and stuffy on summer nights but during the fall it's perfect. Drinks are cheap and some of the house cocktails are really fun.
Utilize the upstairs seating, bars, or restrooms to avoid the crowd downstairs
Gorgeous small venue. I love the ceiling. Get there early, especially for partially seated shows, if you want to be able to see well.
My favorite venue in San Francisco. Get early for balcony seats or just to get close to the stage. Great food as well, share a sundae, it's friggin' huge! Upstairs bathroom is more convenient btw.
One of the best sounding venues in the city.
decently priced drinks, small intimate venue. loved it! will have to remember they don't take Amex.
$20 minimum at bar
Take off your hats and panda ears (seriously people, panda ears?). Love, all the short people.
Grab a brew and enjoy the show!
Chuck Prophet, Gram Parsons tribute
Try the Blistering Peppers - #heat
Try the German Pork Sausage - #sffoodie pop-up
That one dude is right. Drinks are super weak.
"If you have anything to smoke, smoke it outside."
Never heard White Buffalo. Good sound... A little like JCash
there's more bathrooms & a bar upstairs...plus views from the balcony look alot like what lincoln saw when he got shot
Good negroni. Good music too.
It's a small venue, so don't be surprised when you walk in.
It was years after I had moved to SF and seen a few shows at GAMH that I realized I recognized it from a Robin Williams concert I'd seen on HBO. Beautiful still. One of my favorite venues in SF.
The owners are the nicest people.
Box Office open Mon-Fri for low service charge fee tix
A beautiful building with a great upstairs area. If the concert is sold out, you can often get a dinner ticket for a little bit extra.
saw Fall Out Boy here in '08. such a cool venue
Bathroom is upstairs to the right of the bar
The view from the balcony is great, plus no one will step on your toes. Get there early to grab seats.
The ceiling resembles a woman's body
When it says Limited Seating, it means limited opportunities to see the stage
Beautifully and intricately crafted balconies, marble pillars, and a small stage. Catch a great-sounding unplugged show, or prepare for hearing loss on any night when the indie rock bands roll in.
The guys working the door are great hosts! Helped me find my wallet after I accidentally trashed it. Even provided latex gloves!
