Incredibly beautiful park ~20min from downtown Arlington. Busy, but great trails lining the river which are not to be missed. ~1.5-2hr for a hike along the water, looping back to the Visitor Center

Walked for 3 hours all over the park on Sunday. It was amazing! Make sure you were appropriate shoes - saw a bunch of women in sandals and flipflops - you can't climb rocks in those!

The Billy Goat trail is a challenging, but fun hike. The trail sometimes closes when there is heavy rain. Wear hiking boots or really good sneakers.

Pet-friendly park. Arrive early to beat the crowds. Not accessible by public transit is a fail. Picnic tables near the visitor center and a snack bar window make it perfect to bring the dog. 🐶🍁🍃🍂

The trails are challenging but always fulfilling because eventually you are going to see the well-known twenty foot waterfalls. The serenity is priceless and all trails are wheelchair friendly.

River Trail is has a lot of gorgeous stopping points to take in the scenery. Even though it's only a few miles, it will take a while to complete. Don't plan to rush through.
