Great place..as a big family we thought we wouldn't be able to be together because the difference in the kids ages but noooo....from 6-35 stay together except for one slide. had an amazing family time
Buy the Souveneer cup for $12.99 Unlimited refills on Coca-cola and Icee's for the duration of your stay!
Love it :)
As a local we loved to just swing by and play Magiquest.
The beds are very lumpy. The noise in the hallways doesn't get quiet until 11pm and can start at 7am the next morning. Water park is awesome!
About the 7th time coming here
Check in begins at 1pm but you can't get into your room until 4pm! You can begin using the water park at 1 though.
Rooms are pricey. Food, drinks, snacks, are VERY expensive. Beach towels in the indoor water park are very small, and uncomfortable. Beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are horrible. Meh.
Place is awesome for the kids and has very good service... I will say it's made to play here and not for comfort because the beds are not very comfortable..
Stop by Dunkin Donuts at night to avoid long lines in the morning.
Fun, but unnecessarily expensive. The upcharge of around $150+ after Xmas is shady. They should offer free access to MagiQuest. Great decor and safety awareness. Tornado is where you want to be.
Lots of tacked on hidden charges
Go early and late for the slowest lines
Make sure you have plenty of room on the credit card as they set aside money each night on reserve to cover incidentals
Great place to take the family for a vacation
The line for the slides is a lot shorter at night. plan accordingly. you will get to slide a lot more.
It was awesome, Lord willing we are going back ever year.
Dunkin' Donuts on site is Peanut/Tree Nut free; regular DD shops aren't. This is huge for people with P/TN allergies and their families! The lodge purposely made it that way. SO AWESOME!!!
Nice place, but you have to get the biggest room to get 2 bathrooms. At about 380.00 a night! :/
The Tornado ride is not to be taken lightly, the drop off is crazy. It is definitely top five rides foe me ever.
The beds are so uncomfortable. This is our third stay here & the 3rd time waking up unrested with back pain. For this price, beds should be much better. Almost $800 for one night for our family of 6!
I have never been here and really like to have some information sent to me!!!
Wonderful local author
Cool place!! But the food is way to much
bring snacks and drinks & walk back to ur room to eat. a slushie here was $10! also bring ur own beach towels theirs r small and thin
spa! arcade. magicquest. food. tons of water! what's not to love. ur wristband is ur room key also they scan it to charge snacks to the room
Rather than eating at the Lodge, go to Denny's. 20% discount with Great Wolf wristband.
The chefs are amazing and the housekeeping staff are great!
Great place to being kids of all ages!
Really fun and if you are gonna visit it's under $300 so it's cheep and maki quest is a awesome thing to do! Visit it some time
Not a very clean hotel for a AAA Diamond rated location. Cockroach scurried away from dirty dusty wall edge...maybe the housekeeping vacuums could not clean flush to the wall?
Having a blast
Be prepared to drop some serious coin up in here.
Great place for your young kids and teens, we love it here, so much to do.
Men: Please do not wear white trunks. You may as well be wearing cellophane once the water hits you. Thanks!
Ready for a fun family filled weekend!!
This resort hotel near Charlotte boasts an 84,000-square-foot water park, a lodge-wide interactive game called MagiQuest, and an arcade. And did we say it's a hotel, too?
The Great Wolf Rune must be done in order with a visit to the Star Chart BETWEEN each step.
Wave your wands at the symbols, stop hitting the boards.
Kids eat free till 29 March 2012. The catch is 1 kid per parent eats free at moose cottage for breakfast and dinner not lunch. Still saves a ton of money.
Slide at night...almost no lines and slides are extra cool after dark!
Magiquest is confusing at first, bit ADDICTIVE!
Happy birthday Anyia!
A drink with someone special.
Great niece and nephews love it but it's very expensive. My hubby and I bring our niece and her 3 kids and with room, food and etc...it's almost $1,000 a day for a family of 6. Disney is cheaper
Don't eat here. The food is expensive and not worth the $. Very salty and not warm. DD was great! Def. get the Paw Pass! My boys loved MagiQuest the best!
Working here, The waterpark is always at 84-86 degrees. The reason why it feels cold during winter months is because there is no humidity.
It's not 84 degrees inside, more like 77. Bathrooms are freezing! Bring your own beach towels, the pool towels provided are small, thin and scratchy,
Be sure to get the meals with your stay. You get a great discount on the buffet.
The yellow ride is by far the best ride in the park!
