Boring typical mediocre uber-expensive American steakhouse. You should rather do The Capital Grille or Mooo...
Oysters, Mac and cheese, pot roast are all amazing.
I had my wife and son here and I have to say the rib eye steak was the best I have ever eaten. My son and I split the steak and swordfish with the hash browns. Oh my god!
Get the coconut cake with pineapple sorbet! Loved the salmon and great raw bar
Great steak and sides. Avoid the lamb meatballs.
Fantastic meal. Try the coconut cake!!
Salmon here is the best. Trust me.
Great service, food, and location.
Mac and cheese! Also, great bar scene.
Excellent food and atmosphere. The steak was perfect.
The best of the best indeed are the best. Kobe steak is great!
Conventional wisdom suggests avoiding chicken dishes at steakhouses, but the Brick Pressed Chicken here is fantastic. The Valrhona Chocolate Layer Cake is also obscenely delicious.
Kobe cap steak.
Great food, try the steak so good!!
I've has steaks across the country, but the Kobe Cap steak was one of, maybe the best steak I've ever had.
Very expensive wine, and wonderful service. The grilled cheese is absolutely amaZing.
Oysters, beef in general, tatter tuds (truffle)
Broad wine list, but too expensive. Best oysters I've ever had! The 100 days dry aged ribeye is a must in this restaurant!
Get the steak, don't get the chicken.
Great service but not out of this world food. Capitol Grill is better
Great steak, but come here for the outstanding wine list and wine service.
One of the greatest restaurant in Boston love the salmon.
Ambience was fantastic! Lots of mahogany, snooty suits and uniqueness. However, while the food was great, service was below par for an expensive steakhouse. Try the lamb chops or grass-fed filet.
Dry aged rib eye is beyond delicious
Excellent service, excellent food. Oysters, New England clam chowder, 100-day aged ribeye, English peas ... all were liked by our crowd. 2nd time here and will be back.
Cannot say enough good things about Grill 23 & Bar. Ask for Daniel.
Definitely try the grilled 23 tots.
(Best of Boston 2013-STEAK HOUSE) Improper Bostonian says, "The grande dame of steal houses turns 30 this year, but she hardly feels over-the-hill. Classic service..."
There are better options like Abe & Louis
Worst "high end" steak house I've ever been to. 1st bone-in ribeye comes doubly over cooked, then super under cooked. I'm on a date & at that point mgmt offers more food and I'm like why. Never again
Great Signature dishes! Order the 100 day aged rib eye:)
I would not be surprised if pumpkin mouse at Grill 23 is served in heaven.
The Kobe beef is probably the best steak i ever had. Forget the ribeye and try the Kobe beef! although quiet expensive it is definetely worth the price (62$)...
100 day aged steak beats any nyc steakhouse
Bone-in NY and truffle tots...
Try the porterhouse steak over 20oz the best in town!!!!!
Ask for Josephine
OMG! Beef coma. Pure pleasure
Fantastic service. Elegant interior. Awesome! Order the 100 day aged ribeye.
I believe the cocktails here to be lethal. Get a steak - medium rare - and the truffle tots. Oh, and put your fancy pants on.
Best steak in the city, and among the best seafood. Former by a significant margin.
The chips at the bar are not to be missed.
A great steak is always a treat. Make your meal divine by pairing it with Bordeaux.
Pretty bland chowder!! Dissapointed!
The Kobe Cap steak is by far the best steak I've ever had.
