Wonderful venue. Get there early to line up. It's standing room only so if you want to see the band get in the front of the line to enter. There are a few seats along the side that go quick. No food.

Just a short drive from Austin, this dance hall always promises a good time. It's the oldest hall in Central Texas, & many of the greats have preformed here. Check their website for upcoming concerts.

Try to go when The Georges are playing. Usually on Wednesday nights. They're the best at Gruene. I go to every show they have! I'm a big fan (:

Built in 1878 and cited as Texas’ oldest dance hall, the venue has hosted gigs by Willie Nelson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bo Diddley, and George Strait. Famously features no air conditioning.
