A converted garage is the place for this tasty and fresh Italian joint. Start your journey with the Kale Salad and bruschetta and then move on to a pasta. Tried the Frutti de Mare. Just incredible.

The kale salad with steak is absolutely great and so is Pappardelle ai Funghi - creamy yet not too heavy, with a lot of flavour. Came in before 5pm on a weekday, didn't wait long, great service!

Gusto 101 is a great spot for a more modern take on signature Italian dishes. Some excellent imported wines selected by their sommelier/owner. Good price points for the more frugal or frivolous.

Love the vibe on the fab rooftop patio. More intimate inside. The staff are adorable (minus the guy in the Yankees cap...boooo). Order the kale salad. Have an espresso just for the cute cup!

PAPPARDELLE AI FUNGHI. Wow. I drool thinking about it. Perfectly cooked pasta... so much flavour... goes great with their house wine. Other things can be hit or miss, but this is always perfection.
  • Nina I.
The house wine is surprisingly so good! The rooftop patio is really great - perfect for dates or spending time with the girls. Tasteful decor and good atmosphere.

Best to arrive early to enjoy the grilled branzino or quattro fromaggi -- both very good, when you finally manage to get a table. Mains start at $17, pizzas at $12. Read more

Excellent place. Vibe, good service, location, interior, great food - all there. Tried pizza this time. Comparable to one at Pizzeria Libretto but still lacks something.

Pros: Food was all good, waiter was nice, service was fast. Good restaurant. Cons: The rooftop isn't that nice, and it overlooks a dark alley and dumpster. Foursquare is misleading about the rooftop.

Great decor/atmosphere and service. (Getting a seat upstairs is a plus). I had the Carpaccio and Moroccan Chicken. Both were delicious. Definitely going back.

The carpaccio & polipo (char grilled octopus) were fantastic. Their egg noodles were also phenomenal - had the Pappardelle ai Funghi. They make a great negroni too - but drink service was slow.

Food has been good but the bar and patio area are even better. Great place to hang and check out the king west scene. Lovely private room downstairs for dining.

Amazing Italian cuisine with gorgeous rooftop! Pasta can be a bit too salty, so just ask for less.

If you are not sure about the weather, use the roof top terasse. Good breeze out there.

Best kale salad I've ever had. Pair it with a flatiron steak and you're golden.

The food menu could be bigger — relative to its drinks. If you're going for some grub, get the mushroom pasta.

The mushroom and cream pasta is my favorite but the pizzas are stiff competition. Both lose out to the $1/oz house wine, though.

Terrible place. The top desk isn't open until 6pm, cocktails by the pitcher, although on the menu, aren't available anymore as they're not "cost effective". Dreary and stuck up.

Fettuccini Funghi is very good. Pizza is so - so. Pulpo appetizer is tasty but not worth the price...they should increase the portion size for this dish. Ambience is cool but loud.
