People tend to check in during these times:
To Kill a Mockinbird. Great actors and production.
Make a whole day of it. Wander the park nearby, eat a sandwich on the endless bridge, walk by the river, get dinner at Sea Change, and go see an evening play.
The view is amazing in the evening!
It's an attractive and efficient lobby once you get the hang of it, and most of the plays are extremely well-done. They bat about .750 on their Shakespeare.
Midnight Summer Dream
Endless bridge great views also 9th floor spectacular
Amazing facility striving to maintain and elevate the art of live theater!
Even if you don't have tickets for a show, definitely stop by to view this beautiful building.
Last minute show tickets for $25. Set & costumes for A Christmas Carol were lovely.
Forgot to check in last night. Go see Relics. It's cool.
A little coffee a little rehearsal
A plethora of venues and artistic options. It's a unique and necessary Minneapolis experience
Student rates for most shows. Online and at the box office.
Take a tour
infinity bridge is pretty sweet views
Fantastic theater complex. Make sure to go to the observation area for the views of the Mississippi River and the falls.
Perfect seats-3rd row from front dead center. What a wonderful performance! The Mountaintop was amazing.
Love the Guthrie! Awesomest building in the city :-)
Great space, but the theatrical performances are uninspired and completely "safe".
Make sure you go out on the bridge!
There are very nice coat lockers foe a quarter near the box office but most people haul their big storm coats to their seats. Dummies!
Go see a Christmas Carol
Go have a delicious cocktail at the Target Lounge on the 4th floor with Tim the bartender. Such a swanky little place.
It was a great play, the actors, the performance and the customs were Broadway like.
Leg room is terrible, like coach on an airplane
30 or under? Join the "below 30" club and buy same-day tickets at rush line prices (~$20) without standing in the rush line.
Be on time! :)
Strong characters, thought-provoking issues on racism, some comedy, language, and directions. Great ensemble, wonderful staff, cafe a bit higher on the price. Stop by their gift shop.
Takes 51 seconds to get down the escalator.
$5 parking at the surface lot. Much easier in and out.
Had the best time when i went there and i will carry on the christmas tradition
Sign up for their mailings and emails to get lots of special deals. Or just show up an hour before the show and get in the rush line. The performances are worth full price, but cheaper is better.
Truly unique, modern theater space, perchance in the US. Perched upon the Mississippi, with the Gold Medal sign in view, the building competes with a stellar artistic line up & the great Mark Rylance.
Target Lounge is the best bar here!
This is an awesome theater!! It's has nice lounge areas and the theater seating is cozy. I totally recommend catching a show here. I'm definitely coming back!!
Long days journey into night. Wonderful acting but I do not agree with the use of the GD word. Would have been much better without it.
Life is theater and you are in one.
It was a lot of fun!
Pre-order cocktails at the Target Lounge and avoid the lines during intermission.
Loved it very easy to park at and find
Interesting architecture - two story floating bridge overlooking the Mississippi and a two story skyway for moving set pieces between the scene shop (across the street) and the theaters.
Best venue for a concert even ever.
beautiful architecture - bravo!
Have a drink at Sanctuary post-show (2 blks south on Washington)
The signs on the men's room sinks hint to alternative use?
