Wagyu beef rice burger bento box at lunch time. Beef went well with rice burger but a bit salty. Green bean fries lacked seasoning. Shrimp and avocado salad was good.

    Karen Chu · June 2
  • Martin D.

    Bean fries.

  • Ryan S.

Head upstairs for the best atmosphere of Vancouver's Guu franchise. Don't go to similarly-named Gyu downstairs. All the Izakaya classics are fantastic. Tuna Tataki and chicken karaage are musts.

Pork cheeks are so juicy and tender! You can never really go wrong with anything in this restaurant, prepare to buy a lot of food because the portion is very small (tapas style)

    Jessica Willyanto · August 15, 2014

Bad service! We asked them about an item that didn't arrive twice and they seemed confused every time. The menu isn't as good as the other locations and prices are higher. Frozen beer is a rip-off!

The view from the roof is awesome. Definitely a great summer hangout.

From the hot towels to the secret garden terrace, everything delights here. All the Izakaya classics are fantastic and they may possibly have the best chicken karaage in the city. [Eater 38 Member] Read more

Everything I ordered on the menu was great.. and I've ordered half the menu, the Ebi Mayo was a definite winner! Quite difficult to speak with the servers as they seem to speak limited English.
