A must visit! This shook has it all - Halva, Turkish Delight, Fresh Pita, Borekas, spices - you name it, it's there. Take your time and wander the stalls taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells.

Definetly crowded and takes time to learn how to get around, but by far my favorite place in Tel Aviv. Go there before sunset, grab a few Le'chamim cheese sticks and some tomatoes and make a picnic

Wonderful but crowded market serving as the food spot for Tel Aviv. Fresh produce and a lot of funny replicas/parodies of famous brands

You can hardly find a more authentic Middle East atmosphere than here. Excellent food is hidden everywhere, also in the nearby streets. Two signs: many locals and everything only in Hebrew.
  • David InterContinental Hotel Tel Aviv
This is the main food market in Tel Aviv. Take a wander down here for fresh fruit and veg, freshly baked bread... and there's even a beautiful flower stall right in the middle of all the commotion!

At the end of the day it's just a market, but the food is really good. Especially the burika/boureka in the southern part of the market. They also have sugar-sprinkled doughnuts.

Love this place. Such chaos - loads of great looking fruit, veg, spices and nuts etc. lots of tourists but also normal Israelis doing their shopping. Well worth a visit

Try the pasta shop just before the entrance at the right corner. A lot of selections and cheapest pasta you can find in TLV. Great tasting too.

The 7 shekel falafel they sold in one of the stands here when I visited was the best (and cheapest) falafel in Tel Aviv. You cant miss it, they announce the price at the top of their lungs. :)

There is a sandwich/grill station inside the shuk with a red and white awning. The guys that work there are super friendly and it is delicious. ~Marissa, Tel Aviv University

Don't leave without trying the Burekas at 'Turkey Original' - a small bakery on the western end of the market. Apparently they're some of the best in town!

Great fresh produce and other products. But beware if you're a foreigner, because they will rip you off and more often than not will not want to bargain with you
