Lovely little German town an hour's drive from Adelaide's CBD. The locals are friendly, go during the weekday, less human traffic and spend the day strolling the quaint little shops.
Come and pick your own strawberries at Beerenberg Farm! During the warmer months from November to April, visit our shop at the eastern end of Hahndorf, grab a punnet and head in to start your hunt.
We would love for you to come visit! Beerenberg's farm shop is located at the eastern end of Hahndorf, where you’ll be able to try our products and see where we grow our produce, 9am to 5pm every day.
Check out the amazing white hot chocolate at Chocolate@No5
Shops generally open at 9ish am. Some at 10. Restaurants are closed from 2.30 pm to about 5.30. Then open for dinner again.
The parking in Handorf had been reduced dramatically!! Think twice about heading here on a weekend or put out the positive parking vibes!
The best time to visit Hahndorf is during autumn (april)
Beautiful place but busy on public holidays. Allow enough time to park and enjoy the place.
German tourist village with great craft & gift shops either side of the main street. Parking can be a problem on pub hols & wkends. Need good "legs" & be prepared to buy lots. Not wheelchair friendly.
Lovely tourist town
Crazy town with little parking.
Really good spring rolls and a good size too.
