Great restaurant and lounge. The Summer Palace drink was amazingly refreshing, the dim sum. platter was a feast to the eyes but nothing beat the sesame prawns with foie gras. Simply memorable.
Not a typical dim sum experience. Dim sum ordered a la carte. Service on this Sunday morning was quite inexperienced. Dim sum was good but again not the typical selection. Location is very impressive!
Great date spot, a good place to weed out the culinarily incompatible...sweet and sour what, check please...love the family style portions too, good for groups of synesthesiacs.
Exquisite, Shanghai‑chic decor sets the swank mood at this new Theater District outpost of the London‑based chain, fielding extraordinary Cantonese‑inspired dishes with Western accents. . .
Finally, a spot in NY with good dim sum. It may not be 100% traditional but coming from someone from Hong Kong it's better than every other place in NYC! Delicate and authentic flavors with creativity
Lovely food but felt terribly rushed by staff, restaurant wasn't even that busy. Here to enjoy this, give me some time (+ space!) Disappointed by dirty glasses and sediment in glass. Michelin starred?
Dim sum lovers will enjoy the Sunday dim sum brunch, which offers an array of steamed dim sum options. http://freshnyc.com/chinese/haute-cantonese-chinese-cuisine-times-square-hakkasan
Everything was fantastic - steamed dim sum, crispy duck salad, but especially the cod in champagne and honey sauce. Also, definitely check out the smokey negroni!
Uber trendy modern Chinese. Expensive, but nice drinks at the bar. Try the smoker... And take time to watch them make the drink. Recommend: vegetarian dim sum appetizer and eggplant main dish.
Upscale Chinese with amazing dim sum. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend har gau, Crispy beancurd prawn cheung fun, and duck salad. Try their sorbet for refreshing after the meal.
This Michelin-starred, high-class Chinese spot in Hell’s Kitchen is the king of the prix-fixe: Seven courses. $98. Come hungry, leave perhaps too full for nooky, but you’ll make it through.
Vegetarian Dim sum is delicious to start with. dumplings have really tender skins. Finish with the chocolate orange...not too sweet chocolate mousse balanced by a blood orange sorbet
Eh... Very well done and complete atmosphere, though it may not be to your taste. My advice is to have an appetizer and cocktails, but skip dinner. The food is just okay... Service was weird at best..
ordered starred dishes on the menu and they were all amazing! MUSTS: dim sum platter, spicy prawns, black pepper rib eye & peking duck!!
This Chinese restaurant has one Michelin star. The menu didn't wow me. The food was nice and brought on time. The food was good. Pricey.
Horrible service. I was seated at 730p and my order didn't arrive until 911p. Waiter says that the kitchen was busy while the table seated after me ate, paid and left. No accountability from staff.
Obviously Dorothy doesn't understand the Highest of caliber this place holds. You are paying for what you get and that is the best of the best in modern Chinese. Enjoy! :-D
Vegetarians: the greens/asparagus salad sucks, don't get it! Weird dressing. The vegetarian tofu is amazing so is the rice &: the sea bass is delicious!
Quick great service, yummy food cocktails. They accommodated a group of 5 easily. While in Times Sq. area hidden enough to not feel like it.
This place is perfect for a night where you feel like treating yourself to something extraordinary. The service, food, and atmosphere are fantastic.
Dim sum is delicious: chive dumplings, sticky rice w/ chicken, duck-stuffed pumpkin puffs. Also try sea bass or gai lan. – Green Guide Editor
The steamed dumplings. You must. Ask the sommelier to pair a good Riesling with it, you never knew wine could pair so well with chinese cuisine!
Palatial with white marble and soft leather, this Chinese restaurant is as stylish as it is delicious. Stir-fry lotus root is to die for.
Vladimir is the best bartender in the world! Incredible food, amazing cocktails, never too busy, and smells like a spa. Cool place.
Had a business dinner here with a limited menu. I tried everything on it and it was fantastic. Can't wait to come back.
Finally in NY! Start off with a Smoky Negroni - a twist on a classic cocktail with a Grand Marnier smoke infusion- simply sublime!
Agreed, the dim sum platter is great for lunch. But I'm OBSESSED with the tofu aubergine and Chilean sea bass! Love the decor too
My favourite London restaurant now my favourite NY restaurant ... Try the awesome smoky negroni. Dim sum platters amazing too!
Not only is their restaurant week menu amazing, but they are also giving out gift vouchers for the same face value to return!
As a life long dim sum lover, I was pleasantly surprised to find such quality here. The fried rice is also very good.
Service was attentive, drinks were strong, food was incredible but obviously small portions & pricey. That comes with the territory. Go.
NYC outpost just as good as the Miami one. Mushroom lettuce wraps and shacha sea bass! Pair with a Double Cross martini by Camille and you're set!
You must get the dim sum, it's so delicious! Duck salad is a nice second.
all it takes is fabulous service and fantastic food.. and you are reminded that you are in heart of NYC!!
Dessert fruit platter and dim sum dishes are tasty and impressive. Overall presentations have a modern and creative twist.
Three things: Shanghai dumplings (any dumpling really), Peking duck (best in NYC) and spicy seafood rice
The Hakka has a yogurt flavor and it is amazing!
Went during #NYCrestaurantweek and had a great deal set menu - food just as delicious and price was incredible!
Try the smoky negroni. Watch the bartender prepare it, might just be the best show in Times Square.
I die for the prawn dumplings. I could eat them everyday. Service was spectacular.
Our server, Ashley C., went above and beyond. Wonderful food and accommodating service:-)
Great food! Lovely ambience. Overall a very good experience. Will surely be back.
Upscale Chinese food imported from London. Pricey, but top quality. Go for dim sum.
Get the Crispy Duck Salad or you'll regret missing out. Heaven in every bite!
Sexy, upscale, and delicious. The closest to perfect sha cha beef I've ever had.
Crispy duck Salad was to die for. The bar cocktails are soo good
