The Hall Building at Concordia University is in downtown Montreal near the Guy-Concordia Metro & has classrooms, auditoriums, services & is a student centre.
Take the undeground hallway from the LB or the EV building to avoid foot traffic on street level

Computer science students and engineers, all computer labs on 8th and 9th floor have been upgraded to windows 7 and some hardware upgrades too!
The People's Potato located on the seventh floor of the Hall building is a vegan soup kitchen. They are open Monday to Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and is by donation.
The 7th floor has a student lounge with comfortable chairs and coffee tables. Great for group studying. Avoid mealtimes for less traffic.
Greenhouse on the 13th floor, check it out. (NW stairs)
The Greenhouse is housed on the 13th floor of this building. You can work on a group project surrounded by greenery year-round. It's also a nice place for lunch or tea.
In total, only 27 people have died in the Hall Building since 1964; 8 died hilariously, the rest were quite tragic
Escalators never work here!
The Zest cafeteria located on the seventh floor of the Hall building is great for those with big appetites. They serve hot entrees, pasta, stir-fry, grilled item, salad bar and a choice of soup.
The 6th floor rooms have asbestos above the ceiling tiles! Look for the warning stickers on the walls to see if your classroom has it.

The Hall Bldg replaced a previous structure by the same name which was renown for it's exceptionally long hallways, many of which led nowhere, or back to where you started. It was maddening.
Do not answer to your phone in the librairies silent zone! Everyone will want's to kick you

Avoid H-929 with wifi devices. WORST lab for signal strength in the building.

Elevators suck too
Escalators aren't defective. They're turned off at peak hours by security because the bldg was never designed to handle tens of thousands of students. Thus, the escalators break down less often!
Construction currently blocking tunnel to hall building. Detour is a pain. If it's nice outside then go that way.
