If you're in a rush, go for a sandwich. They come much faster than dosas do. However, the dosas are better.
Great new [roomier] location! The dosas look huge but they're thin -- don't share. Avocado, jack cheese, tomato, and chicken is my fave.
Great dosas. They're made of lentils, so they're gluten free.
Tasty but how many potatoes do you want to eat in your life? Seriously stop and think for a second.
If you're taking your dosa to go, I recommend cradling it like a baby to keep is safe on the busy sidewalks.
This location has closed. They opened a new location on Grand
Great, casual fusion fare. Prices are very reasonable, the food is fresh and the size of the dosa is very ample but can be a real challenge to handle.
Never had dosas before, but I found those to be really good. Definitely try the different chutneys!
Massive, tasty dhosas with great chutney. A bit tricky to eat on the go.
I got the original spicy potato dosa with mango chutney and a chai tea. The service is fast and between two people you should just order one dosa. The portion is massive. It's great for a quick lunch.
Classic masala dosa and chai! Love it!
Huge and delicious dosas and great chai.
This place has great chai tea.. Except for the fact it has waay too much sugar. How about no sugar?
Awesome westernized, modern take on South Indian dosas: get an extra chutney for good measure
Olive goat cheese spinach tomato dosa. Perfect, healthy, light, and vegetarian
#5 with chicken, mango chutney.
Soups are underrated, but don't trust their facebook to give you the correct soups of the day! Or their outdoor chalk board for that matter.
Disaster are essentially gluten free wraps. Tasty, and huge portions for a great price. Quality ingredients. Charming interior. A fantastic "fast food" meets coffee shop style.
Gluten free, lots of vegetarian options, and just delicious. Get a Dosa. They're so good !
Half chai, half cardamom coffee....yes.
Curry chicken dosa with cilantro chutney. The cardamom coffee also can't be missed.
Get the curry chutney chicken with cilantro. Even though the dosa is big, you will still feel hungry when you finish it, because it's that delicious!
The mango lassi is delicious, as are the dosas (the #13 -cilantro chutney tuna, arugula, tomato, and avocado- is more or less perfect).
Gigantic dosas. If you're taking it to-go, empty out your bag all the way and you may get to eat your dosa with the sauce you ordered.
Be prepared to wait a while. Get the tomato chutney.
The dosas are literally 2-3 feet long, so cradle them Heisman-style. I recommend the #5 (avocado, arugula, tomato, cheese)
The grilled cheese with avocado and chicken is GOLD. Indian food? What's that?
One dosa might be enough for two...
Iced Cardamom Coffee. Do it.
The cardamom coffee is tasty; I'd recommend it. No idea what cardamom is but tastes like cinnamon.
The turkey sandwich is really tasty. Keep an eye out for seasonal lahssis.
Lines can get a bit long, but try the grilled cheese with chicken, avocado and mango chutney
Great if you're craving a fusion-y Dosa... I always get the curried chicken one, with cilantro chutney.
leave a coin for Gamesh
Chicken spinach dosa's where the party's at...
Those dosas are enormous. Make sure you have a knife and fork handy, and get the cilantro chutney!
Tasty mango chutney..
#9 with tomato is the best lunch in nyc!
Either try the cardamon coffee or the chai while you're here. If you get the chai, add some extra sugar to it.
half chai and half cardamon coffee- wut!!!
Get the number 13. Cilantro chutney tuna salad and avocado, can't beat that.
Try the #9 for something a little different. It makes for a very filling lunch!
The 'orange blossom lemonade' is spectacular and so is everything else!
Fabulous place to stop in for a quick stand-up lunch of a yummy dosa!
Cardamom coffee - hot not iced
My favorite coffee spot in the area because when chai meets coffee, magic happens. Don't leave without trying the cardamom coffee!
Get the goat cheese, beet, and squash dosa!
Order a side of yogurt with your wonderful dosa! I love be #7 seasonal with cilantro
