Erm... not sure where people are looking at these barriers. AFAIK Harrogate train station doesn't have any.
Parking is now £6 but if you are a rail passenger you can get half back at ticket office. Also Ringo mobile payments now taken.
Make sure you get an earlier train if you want to get to where you're going on time!
Where did platform 2 go?
If you are travelling early use the car park as its only £1.50 all day if you buy your tickets at the office Bargain!
New cafe is not great, bacon sarnies are microwaved
Need to get to London then use Harrogate instead of York as it seems more civilised also nice cheerful coffee shop in station.
Remember Platform 3 is over the footbridge - don't risk it for time, you may have to cross over!
The leeds bound platform is open to the elements (small shed under cover) so wrap up warm.
There are no barriers at Harrogate.
Can now pick up tickets at the new ticket machine.
If there aren't any taxis just outside the door, head across the main road (Station Parade) for one.
If you're at the station early in the day, grab yourself a free Metro newspaper from outside the side doors.
