People tend to check in during these times:
The "Haunted Mansion" is the elegant home of 999 ghosts, ghouls and goblins who are just dying to meet you! Could you be their 1000th gloom-mate?
My favorite ride. I always get the Grim Grinning Ghosts song stuck in my head.
Currently being refurbished
Visit after Thanksgiving for Nightmare Before Xmas theme. Turn long waits into photo opportunities. Keep eyes open for hidden gems. At end sit on ends to see your passenger ghost best
Closes annually in September and January for a week or two usually to put up and take down the Nightmare Before Christmas theming.
You never get bored of the haunted mansion
Amazing job for the holidays!
During Halloween is super popular and makes the New Orleans square overly busy. Decorated for Nightmare before Christmas and
It was decorated for Halloween/Christmas. Lots of fun.
Not as exciting when it's holiday themed
The ghosts are fun, not too spooky for the little ones.

999 Ghosts and Jack and sally home
Had a nightmare before Christmas theme liked the original better
Probably one of the bigger bummers at Disneyland. Perhaps for kids, it will be a little scary and thrilling
Not the best but it was pretty cool
Beware of hitchhiking ghosts!
The best ride in the park! If there is a line be sure to get the fast pass for it. Also be sure to fill in all the DEAD space!!

I love haunted stuff, the decoration is awesome
Around Christmas time it turns into a more festive Jack Skellington version
The Nightmare Before Christmas ride was my daughters and I most favorite. 'This is Halloween'
The Nightmare Before Christmas version of this attraction during the holidays is not as spooky as the usual Haunted Mansion. Fun for Tim Burton fans, but sort of a letdown from the typical experience

Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion!
One of my favorite rides here in Disneyland! Unfortunately they were closed due to decorations going up for Halloween. They'll be up and running on 9/12 though!
Hit up this ride in the evening when everyone is getting ready to watch Fantasmic, there was no wait.
Is this room realllllly stretching?

We have 999 happy haunts, but there's room for a thousand. Any volunteers?
Look for the Hidden Mickey on the banquet table!
About as scary as the Addams Family—and just as much fun. Weird, corny haunted house ride featuring classic character voices like Paul Frees, wonderful special effects, and Mad-Magazine-level "jokes."
I heard that it's common that people "try" to spread their passed loved ones ashes in here.. Uhmmm gross!
Great for all kids.
Not too creepy, not too scary. My first ride everytime.
this is where all the beheaded riders of Thunder Mountain go.
Great fun any time of year. Late September to early January you can enjoy the "Nightmare Before Christmas" version as well. Nice change up for the holidays!
Count the candles on the birthday cake... lucky 13?
Donald Duck chair in the haunted mansion
Make sure you make a visit during Halloween thru January. You will not want to miss the "Nightmare before Christmas". For the 13th Anniversary they added some cool new things ;-) 2013
Cute for small children
Love the Nightmare Before Christmad!
Hidden Mickey alert! Check out the plates on the main dining room table.
