Havana Central evokes the 1950s golden era of Cuba. Traditional dishes like VacaFrita, RopaVieja and Arroz con Pollo are an unmistakable celebration of Cuban cuisine. The cocktail list includes the best Mojitos and Sangrias in New York.
Una excelente opcion para cenar, con musica en vivo de calidad internacional
Great appys: Lobster Avocado, platano rellenos, taquitos & chicharone de pollo. Great sides: maduros. Tostones were just okay. Mojitos: tasted pina, coco and passion fruit---Coconut was my face!
food is okay nothing special. their drinks are excellent
Skirt steak! I love the atmosphere. Makes me want to be in Cuba. Love the drinks, margaritas are good. So is the rum! Food is awesome.
Great apps (chicken, empanadas, queso) was delicious. The drinks were tasty too.

Cuban food in Time Squares Excellent for not being in Miami
Best Shrimp Monfongo and Mojito in New York City so far!
Live salsa music on saturdays
Love the roast pork Cuban sandwich and yuca fries.
Chicken sandwich. 👌
Mango mojito are everything. Chew on the sugarcane. It's delicious. Great live music too.
Food is surprisingly delicious and drinks are quite tasty as well. It can get quite loud, so it may not be the best option for date night
The portions are extravagant. The food's not great but if you're stuck in Times Square you could do much worse than Havana Central.
Si lo que busca es un lugar cubano en el time Square este es el lugar para disfrutar
Live music on the weekends. Amazing food. Churrasco accompanied by the greatest chimichurri in the city is a must try here. Strong but delicious mojitos. And the atmosphere is just wonderful!
Music was way too loud, sandwiches were so-so and service was good but slow
One of the best restaurants in the tourist trap area that is Times Square.
$1 empanadas happy hour Tuesday!
Birthday Lunch with my co-workers! They're so sweet - my neverending birthday continues . . . with mojitos 😃
Delicious empanadas & cuban sandwiches. Get a mojito too!
Get the plantain baskets, they're fantastic!
Live band playing Cuban music. great variety of cocktails, especially the piña cola!!!!
Shredded beef was delicious. Had to wait rather long for our mojitos.
Good food. Great service. If Ivan happens to serve you, you are in for a treat.
Great dishes, but a loud environment.
Mango Salmon was good but it was the Shrimp Mofongo that took me back to Puerto Rico. Go for HH & order a sangria but expect a large loud crowd of people at the bar.
Do not try frozen Margarita here
Keep in mind that you won't be seated until your entire party is present
Love the zesty corn& empanadas
Paella is the best any which way! Tried most of the Latin restaurants in the area & this is the freshest with high turnover!
Crystal us a fantastic server!! Ask for her - #the empanadas , sangrias and the paella were very very good. We are leaving stuffed
$6 happy hour for margaritas, beer, and mojitos!
Sea food platter <3<3 the best!
The food is excellent. Order the pernil mofongo. That said, don't put couples up on the balcony in that tiny table with two chairs. Very uncomfortable.
Try one of the mojitos!!!!
Always a fun spot when I'm in New York! Great live Latin music!
Great Cuban food in the heart of Times Square. In NYC everything is possible!
Zesty Havana Corn. Yes.
New Year's Eve 2014 Party at Havana Central - Manhattan, NY early @ Tuesday December 31, 2013.Grab Your Tickets @
Great Cuban food and fantastic happy hour deals! $6 margaritas from 4-7.
Paella de Mariscos (sea food paella) - lo mejor!!!
Halloween drink alert! Bols pumpkin smash liqueur, hazelnut liqueur, rum and ice cream make the Pumpkin Patch-Tini here an obvious pick for late October. $14.
They know how to make cafe cubano. Perfectly sweet. Genuine.
The Havana corn on the cob is the bomb. Try it!
At $12, their Cubano is a tad pricey for a sandwich, but it's a big one (I couldn't finish mine in one sitting)
Great service! Friendly staff! Great food! Place is truly a Cuban Paradise!!
Excellent mojitos - Times Square
Food was dissapointing. Nothing tasted as you expect it would. Where is the "Cuban" flavor?
