Not your typical cinema. The Art Deco makes this place. Awesome, friendly staff. Keep your eyes peeled for the retro movie nights too.

Book tickets if you can first. At peak times such as premiere weeks, Saturday nights etc, it gets busy and there are no allocated seats.

Pre movie drinks at the mayor is a must- though service a little slow for dinner- papaya Thai across the rd is faster.

If you're driving, there's parking over the street at the little Cremorne Shopping Arcade thing - buy your popcorn from IGA to validate :-) $8 for 3 hours.

Excellent range of movies screened regularly here from blockbusters to quality arthouse. The Greek place next door is good for a quick cheap meal after the movie.

Mainstream and arthouse films in a unique and gorgeous art deco style cinema. Pick up a choc top, sit back and soak up the atmosphere. Even David and Margaret would give it 10/10!

Go to a double feature, make sure it's one where the organ guy comes out of the floor. He is the best. Especially when he dresses up. Or just drink rum in the piano bar before a flick...
