Great date spot. All food is fresh, upscale. Knowledgable staff and great cocktails. Get the gnocchi and the berry salad.
Great date spot or small ground dinner. Ambiance is good. Order lanis greens and the warm autumn vegetables to start. The chicken is very good, the meatballs are good, and the canestri.
gnocchi was amazing, get 2 orders.
The tasting menu here is no hushed event: it’s raucous and exciting and always straight-up satisfying.
Staple of the east village. Excellent seasonal food and a very good Riesling menu. Prices are a bit high.
The menu changes daily so you should have a look on their website. I used to be in live with the Cote de boeuf for two, Sit a the kitchen bar!
Good atmosphere, however not impressed with the food. I checked foursquare before going and I found it overrated. My wife and I had the meatballs and the ragu.
The ragu is good - but the gnocchi are the opus magnus. Like a cloud of butter - in the best way. The wine list is extensive and even includes 8 (!) orange wines. Quiet, relaxed, delicious.
Intense but fluffy...
Veal meatballs and polenta were a hit. Generous portion. Be sure to order a couple pieces from the chocolate bar
nice to me, i like to meet you for long term friendship, waits ur reply, thanks contact me in my email address, Kieralouise14@hotmail.com
The stars at Hearth are the pasta (especially gnocchi) and the vegetables. Order based on that and you'll be very happy.
The tilefish was great. The bed of squid ink gnocchi under it was even better.
Holy crap, the gnocchi are wow!
Excellent, excellent food. Bass is great, halibut is divine. Steak is good. Apple cider doughnuts are out of this world.
cool brunch spot. nothing amazing but had a decent time. can't remember what I ate. sit outside. good for people watching.
Ah-may-zing. Everything is good, and their famous cider doughnuts are famous for a reason!
If there's anything on the menu featuring morel mushrooms sautéed in butter.... get it!
Start with asparagus and cucumber salad with light yogurt dressing $14 then whole roasted sea bass on crispy potatoes and fennel stuffed with lemon and rosemary $68.
2015 James Beard finalist for Best Chef - Marco Canora
Mushroom pasta is incredible
The gnocchi. Boom.
Pairing of cheeses with dark chocolate! (tasting menu $86, beverage pairing $50)
2015 James Beard nominee for Best Chef - Marco Canora
Solid place but pricey. Beef consommé had lots of depth of flavor but beef tartare was bland. Hake was cooked really well, crispy skin and tender. Service really slow cos they're really busy.
Say yes to the charcuterie plate. Wow.
The bone broths appetizer!!
See an entree you want as a starter? Ask about a half portion.
Best gnocchi in NYC no question
Thank you to those that recommended the gnocchi, veal ricotta meatballs, and apple cider donuts. Tried lots of things but these were the stars of the show!
Great brunch- light, yet filling. Everything on the plate is fresh and vibrant. Plus, they have an amazing bar selection of wines, ciders, and original takes on traditional brunch cocktails.
A great brunch experience. The veal meatballs are tremendous. And if you're a fan of the Bloody Mary, Hearth serves some of the best in town.
Poached eggs with Tuscan kale and sausage: okay, I see you.
Veal meatballs. Cru Beaujolais. Perfect.
The tasting menu is the way to go... Great for a date too
Good wine list especially if you're getting it by the bottle
Great brunch vibe. Eggs and tomato is a winner. Tasty chicken salad sandwich. Jalapeño Bloody Mary FTW. Avoid the meatballs though.
Incredible food. One of my favorite meals ever!
Great for brunch and dinner. But you can only get those amazing apple cider donuts at dinner.
Gnocchi, the whole fish, or anything with bolognese is what I would go for if you're not doing the tasting menu
Italian-American dishes are executed to perfection at Hearth, under the watchful eye of Marco Canora. Get the meatballs and/or gnocchi, and don't forget an order of the apple cider donut holes.
Get the lamb, get the mushrooms. We were too late, but apparently there's a chicken dish that they only serve 1 of each night. Ask the waiter if you can get it, it looked awesome.
Don’t tell, but sometimes Sarah sits at the chef’s counter and orders Chicken for Two – for one! Fall Vegetable Salad is delicious, worth making a trip to NYC just to try it! The wines list is magic!
If you can grab a seat at the pass overlooking the kitchen. Order the gnocchi!
Go to the bar and order Coors Light and watch the bartenders have a melt down
Hearth has one of the best charcuterie plates I've ever had in my life. If you don't order it you are missing out big time!
