A wide selection of local brews to satisfy any beer lover. Personal favorites include Not Tonight Honey Porter, Red Rooster Ale, Smiling Pumpkin, Farmer John's Oatmeal Stout and Indiana Pale Ale.

Heartland has a few locations around NYC, although this is the only one with a working brewery inside. The food here is also quite tasty, and might be a good restaurant to take friends to after work.

We had the "voyage of beer", a sample of 6 of their beer, and the best one was... the Indian River Light Ale. I also tried the Summertime Apricot Ale. Loooooooved it!

Not sure why others have a problem with wait staff? Always has been good. Prices are quite reasonable. Only beer they have is what they make- always good and super-fresh. Ask for beer samples.

I really enjoyed the hours I spent here - the barkeepers are some of the friendliest I have met. I will definitely go back here next time I'm in NYC!

The taco salad is my favorite item on the menu. I always order it. Have it with grilled chicken or steak. It won't let you down.

It's fall, so that means all the fall ales are in house. Go for the sampler if you can't decide. Their happy-our is a great bargain.

Got the chophouse salad, ny strip and creamed spinach. Steak was better than what I had at Bar Americain last night. I was about to order the expensive ribeye and the waiter told me it sucked. Nice!

The Indian White Pale Ale is delicious, as is the Cornhusker. Nachos are delicious, and the pulled pork... glorious.
