Overlooking the sapphire-blue waters of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is one of the most unique snowsports destinations on the planet. With more terrain variety, more hidden glades, more rippin’ groomers than any Lake Tahoe resort, you've got plenty of decisions to make.
Fun to ski, amazing views, for skiers of all levels.
Great views, great for skiing/snowboarding, and awesome hot chocolate.
Nice skiing experience here. There's have class for beginners also.
Don't forget to stop and take some Lake photos.
Hit up the apres ski
Get a helmet.
Can't beat the views. Just make sure you don't ski off the Ridge when admiring the lake.
Be prepared and take some speed. Lot of catwalks. Anyways best Lake views. Captivating!
Check website to see what lifts/trails are open. Do NOT go when not enough trails are open, especially if you can't ski down & are forced to take the gondola. Wait for gondola at closing can be 1.5hrs
Easily accessible from a few base areas. Pretty good terrain but some of the lift lines can get long.
Impressive ski resort, great facilities
The best view ever.
Beginner skiers beware; Heavenly (while gorgeous!) is light on the greens, heavy on the blues.
Park at stagecoach lodge, it's free. Parking at the village is 25$. Plus stagecoach is best run at end of day.
As close to heaven as you can get on two boards!!
Stick to the Nevada side of the resort.
THE BEST DEALS
Nice place to take visiting family. Perks: wide expansive terrain, close to downtown entertainment, and the views. I prefer to hit up less crowded areas myself but it's a good mountain.
squaw valley resort used to be my all time favorite, but now heavenly! i like them both but summer is better in heavenly!
Don't forget to follow Heavenly Mountain Resort [
This is one of the most betiful places to sky amen !!!!!!!
Parks aren't very well thought out and a bunch of douchebags ski here
Definitely shred high roller park. Easy to keep flowing with the jibs
Try the skiing. It's good.
"EPICMIX" WiFi available at the lodges. Expect little or no cell coverage!
Online ticket sales must be 3 days in advance. Steep discount and skip the lines.
If you need a trainer, ask for Holly.
There is great people watching at the fire and ice grill. Outside seating with a giant fire ring. Bring your wallet though everything is pricy.
10 points every time you spray a snowboarder sitting in the middle of a run!
Best early season terrain in Lake Tahoe! And be sure to check out one of Heavenly's 4 Terrain Parks to get some real air time
Check out the apres ski parties at the Lodge.
Wonderful skiing, powder - will be back next year.
Head straight to the Nevada side for hot laps on the Dipper & Comet chairs, Mott Canyon on a pow day will get you on the steep & deep, and the Grove chair will get you your park fix!
$20 for a burger, fries, and soda?!? fuck u heavenly.
It's one of the most scenic mountains I've ever been too. Bring your snowboard... and your camera.
Check in to Lakeview Lodge and get a free dessert when you spend $15!
Food is good but expensive. $13.75 for a sandwich....
Beware of Bears
My friends and I call this place "Flatland." It's the 1984 of ski resorts as well, make sure you do as you're told. Lift passes and food are ungodly expensive. But hey, it's a great view!
The Heavenly employees are so incredibly helpful and nice!
Lee Gilbert/Wright is an excellent instructor! Had a blast the last couple days.
Shred the gnar!!
One of my favorite places on earth. Look out for the bears!
Don't miss Tahoe's ultimate Apres Ski party. 1/2 price drinks, Heavenly Angels, DJ's and swag. Every day starting at 3:30 at Tamarack Lodge.
Ridge run is great right now; it's the longest run (as there's no snow).
Perfect snowboarding day:) I love this weather) But be aware of beginners
