Shortest and smoothest way to travel between Europe and Asia is via Helsinki. Helsinki Airport's strength lies in its excellent geographical location between Europe and Asia as well as in fast and easy transfers. The transfer times are among the shortest in Europe. (Source: finavia.fi)
Free WiFi and good Ford and shopping 👍
Best winter maintenance in the world. Never closed because of weather conditions 😉
You can sleep at pods, very quiet airport compared to others
Watch out for short connections . They have ZERO tolerance, if you arrive at the gate 15 min before your departure time - prepare your credit cards to book another flight . Unfriendly staff. Awful !
The airport security were respectful, Free WiFi & good designed airport. Their taxi charged me 42€ from the airport to Kamp Hotel.
Lost & found department works well.Price 8,5 euro for each item
Found the REAL solution for layovers @ gate 31!
Free WiFi, silence, places to read books for free
First of all, purchase prepaid SIM card at KIOSK before heading to Helsinki city !! And if you have single ticket for a train, do not forget to validate a ticket on a train.
Very ecological, yet cold airport. Charge sockets are near gates 9-12 on the second floor.
Free WiFi. Comfortable seats. Big grocery shop, Alepa, in T2. Good coffee in both, T1 & T2. Steadily becoming an efficient, smooth, and peaceful hub for Eurasian travel.
The free wifi is a huge plus
Great airport with design well thought trough.
By far the the worst airport I have ever been to, disorganized, continuous change of gate, missing shuttles, unfriendly personnel, far from the city..a complete disaster!
Small but a breeze to get through. Queues are never horrible. Very expensive tho and only a couple smoking lounges.
Terminal 2 is way more lively and stuffed than Terminal 1. Free WiFi, just enough places to eat.
Go Sleep pods, if free, are great for private dark sessions, online, or asleep. Not all the buttons always work, and the usbs and power outlets are optionally on though...
Coffee Spoon,The sunshine terrace ! ☀️
There are "sleeping pods" dotted around the airport where you can lie on a flat bed, isolate the noise by closing in a shutter - even charge your phone inside! Get snapped up really quickly though.
Nice and clean but less and less space to seat and more and more shops.
Perhaps one of the most authentic Europe airports. Finnish design is everywhere. Sweet and comfy
Try the new T2 upstairs security check. No queues!!
There is a nice childrens playground at the very end of the international terminal (gate 35)
Sleeping chairs near by border control..
It doesn't matter even if it's winter, this is punctual place
The Uspenski Orthodox Church was built in 1868 and has the flavor of the Russian period, with red brick architecture. The church is one of the largest orthodox churches in Europe and has 13 domes.
Free Wifi, friendly staff and fast security procedures. Also alot of duty free shops
25min train connection to Helsinki downtown now open! Choose either direction - all trains stop at Helsinki Central Railway Station.
This airports security check is a joke. Slowest lines in the world, focused on the wrong things , overstaffed but underbrained. Idiots !!!
Excellent wifi connections
"Business lounge" they call, where is small, only hot meal is pork hotdog, low speed wifi and no Coca Cola,
Wifi don't work properly, only hot meal is pork hotdog, they should consider Muslims, no Coca Cola, very uncomfortable small couches. The only good thing is everything free
Clean, free wifi, everything works!
Fast transfer, fast check-in. I loved the lounge it's a top class, there's a bunch of verity food.
Although cold weather but comfortable inside the airport
Cosy but quite expensive airport! Latte with snacks will cost you €9.
Good but expensive duty free shoping with famous brand as Marimekko, Arabica and Moomin. Free Wi-Fi in all airport. Best coffee in Terminal 1 at Johan&Nyström.
Surprisingly good sausage place hidden all the way at gate 38 ( T2 )!
A very scandic airport. Clean, simple and efficient. The Finnair lounge is nice. Boarding is quick.
Russian style airport. Really crap!
I like this airport most of the time is empty
Since few months ago there are two security check zones in terminal 2. Check the board for the processing times of each, and choose :-)
Rude staff, weird security protocols and expensive food and drinks.
The best airport in Europe
Unarguably one of the nicest airport I've ever been to...
WiFi is fucking awesome but stupid singing finnish students are annoying 😓 Why is it necessary to sing and shout in the airport?
