The famous not so friendly Char Keow Teow stall. As fury as her temper, the Char Keow Teow is good! Get a table or share with others & order Char Keow Teow with your table no. Expect 2 wait 4 15min.

Went to this legendary stall to eat my favourite dish - fried char kueh tiaw. It was so so for me and the kueh tiaw looks pale too. Oh yea, its RM10 per plate for small size!

Order from this aunty with the attitude and the hat. Prices gone up, but prawns got bigger. Expensive but worth it. The aroma from her frying outside just draws you in.

A very expensive plate of ckt, RM9.50 for a small plate. However the prawns are huge and fresh. Worth try and will be back!

    1. When the infamous aunty is not frying she's behind the cash counter 2. $12 gets you 4 or 5 large prawns 3. She's Thai Chinese

Original flavour char Kuey teow is much better than spicy one. Too much chilli overpowers the freshness of the ingredients and make for a less complex dish.

Char kuey Teow here really diff from d others. Uses charcoal to cook, it makes d kuey teow tastier. One plate= RM 9. Expensive 50 cents than the rest of the coffee shops. Pricey & small portion.

So it's really overrated. I think it's famous because of the big prawn only. I can rarely see people put in such big prawn in CKT. And it's too oily.

Sister ckt may be the highlight, but it's a little exp. There r other cheaper ckt here. Hvg to wait 45 mins is equivalent to starving n bad service frm the aunty is a no no.

Overrated CKT and expensive. You can get an equally good CKT at New World Park or New Lane at night for less. Too much exposures have been given to this place that's why she's popular with tourists.
