Please don't smoke in the rental. Its not your own car. Please keep it clean. The way most customers treat rentals are just trifling. Just remember someone else will rent that vehicle too.

This place is pretty shady. They try to rip you off with insurance you don't need and deceptive check in procedures. If you should have a problem, because NO ONE is going to help you.
Hertz can drop you off at your terminal in your rental car. Great option if you have a lot of stuff or kids.
Do not rent from here. Line is huge. Slow representatives. If you want to use kiosk to self rent you have to wait in line. Rent from anyone but San Diego Hertz.
Self service teminal...no answer...several were out of order.
Don't even bother using the gold club, it makes no difference. Use Enterprise...never fails!

Poorly run operation. Took an hour to get reserved car. To return car, line was out to street. Car was hosed down but dripping wet.
Some of these cars can't outrun the local police. Last time I rent here.
When in San Diego always get an Orange cab (619) 223-5555. Friendly. Fast. And they take credit cards.
WOW! Wait 15 minutes for pickup shuttle. Then pickup people and kill time at regional terminal before dropping off at main. Plan for 45 minutes car to terminal. NEVER rent from these guys.
I rode with Juan & read him all his great reviews on here. He was tickled pink. Riding with him made my morning!
Never rent and return here for one way return. They do not have ability to process paperwork. You walk to main building, shuffle you around, tell you no one can do paperwork until tomorrow, at 4.
Pleasantly surprised by how clean and efficient this location is. Seriously impressed. Attentive customer service, clean facility, clean cars. I probably spent no more than 5 minutes here.
This place is a mess. Unorganized and absurdly slow.

As far as Hertz rental car spots go, this one is really slick. A "pilot program" re-imagineering apparently.
Took the red eye back to the east coast. No one in sight. No lines. Perfect.
The Mazda 3 was a very nice ride. And got great gas mileage.
Charged for added insurance when I declined. Service 800# was one of the worst service experiences ever: "I can have a supervisor call." How long should I wait? "5-7 business days." Seriously?

Shuttles are 5 to 10 mins apart, least 15 minutes more if going to T2, plan 30 minutes from car drop to terminal.
Yeah plan on extra time to get back to the airport.
Never rent here for one way return. They do not have ability to proces paperwork. Make you walk to the building and get shuffled around! Said, you will get your receipt tomorrow!
