It's a park in the sky. It runs for about 1.6 miles but there's lots of places you can get on or off it along the way.

Beautiful promenade with different situations along the way. You can find seating spots every few feet and there are water fountains to freshen up.

Be prepared to walk in a single file line for a mile or so if it's a nice weekend day.

    Can't miss when in NYC.

Very crowded these days. Best to avoid when full of people because the paths are narrow at certain parts and you can't easily pass.

Take your time deciding which cart to buy a goodie from since they all have something offer! Also enjoy the views & the quiet above the city!

This is the perfect location to watch a NYC sunset. Simply put, one of the great urban parks. What an amazing place!

Stunning. A lush and modern architectural wonder. Amazing to the see the city from 15 ft above the pavement. You've never walked 15 blocks so quickly.

Horribly crowded by tourists over the summer, sadly, although it gets better towards later in the evening. Amazing spot otherwise.

The most underrated tourist destination in the city - you have to go walk it! The views are incredible.

Great place for a walk, nice to relax and a different view of NYC

A great park. Start at the southern tip and walk the full way north past Hudson Yards. The new northern expansion is my favorite part — quieter, more natural. Gives you a new perspective on the city.

One of the coolest places in NYC! Come late so you can catch the sunset and end up in Chelsea Market for some of the best food around!

Very nice path, the idea of planting in the unused train line is very good and it's a great place to walk, sunbathe, relax

Beware of the fake monks. File a police complaint if they harass you, and even if they don't (but they usually do).
