    (Good luck) go(ing) when it's not crowded, as the contrast with the aves below will be even more stark. Different views, installations, and no traffic lights make it the best way to walk the west side

    New section of the High Line is open now at 30th St. Go enjoy the lovely weather with concrete planks, plants, and a killer view of Jersey. There will be seesaw for kids, and picnic tables. Sun, 9/21. Read more

    Runs between Gansevoort and west 30th Street. Visit the 23rd Street Lawn, open between 7am and 10pm!

    Beautiful promenade with different situations along the way. You can find seating spots every few feet and there are water fountains to freshen up.

    Yet another beautiful little slice of the Big Apple to enjoy. Love how the pedway is elevated above the original railway, and some of the track was left in place.

    Wifi here is spotty but it's a great place to take in some sun, harbor views, and Gehry's IAC building. Duck under to Chelsea Market for some gelato.

    Great views. Check seasonal hours before going. Closes at 5 before winter daylight savings and at 7 before June 1st.
