The high line route is best started at chelsea. 4 poke gyms on the way and tons of pokestops.

Given the chance to grow, the landscaping here has flourished and matured beautifully, much better than when it first opened. Now a much appreciated green corridor on the west side of lower Manhattan.

Beautiful scenery tucked into old NYC train infrastructure. A great spot for lunch or for a walk. They are also expanding this spot!

If you come at noon on a hot day, be prepared for the fact that there is very little shade in this park.

Great nice walk on the high line. Start in the north and go to the south and then end either in the roof top bar of the Standard Hotel or enjoy a coffee on the ground floor!

Beautiful scenic views, especially by Javits Center. Bring sunscreen though, there are parts where there's nothing to provide shade at all

Very crowded these days. Best to avoid when full of people because the paths are narrow at certain parts and you can't easily pass.

Great walk through. Check that there are no major events happening before you go. Party by Coach (handbags) took up the entire park area when we went.

Northern path is usually more empty if you want to jog. Be sure to step down in Chelsea market to eat

Great walk on a sunny day! Really like what they've done with this old subway track and turn it into a park.

This is my favorite park in the city. It's a bit crowded in the summer as some of the walkways are quite narrow, but it's fun there. It's also a bit quiet, above the traffic, rather than on level.
