Central Park? Forget it: This is the coolest park in NYC. Be sure to check out the beer garden and food trucks in the lot at the end.

Take in stunning views of the cityscape and Hudson River. On a clear day, the Statue of Liberty can be seen from 10th Avenue Square.

Explore the architecture and art installations of this former elevated railway, or simply wile away an afternoon on one of the wooden lounge chairs. Stay for sunset, the views are gorgeous!

A great park. Start at the southern tip and walk the full way north past Hudson Yards. The new northern expansion is my favorite part — quieter, more natural. Gives you a new perspective on the city.

The high line is pretty neat. Nice for a walk. Interesting reuse of a derelict space to create a beautiful public space.
