Now that the High Line is packed with traffic during the day, a great time to go is on the weekends from 7-8am when there's almost no one.

Beware of the fake monks. File a police complaint if they harass you, and even if they don't (but they usually do).

Wow! So worth the visit! The landscaping, design and concept of this park is incredible! It's a "recycled" train track turned park. You get a great view of the city and get to see great architecture.

Overcrowded on sunny days... Reminded me of traffic jam. But which outdoors place isn't when the weather is nice, right?

Walk to Bethune & Washington to see part of the old High Line that is still visible. The Westbeth building also used to house the original Manhattan Project.

When it's nice out, the highline is an awesome place to traverse north-south Manhattan. However, it IS tourist central :/

The high line is pretty neat. Nice for a walk. Interesting reuse of a derelict space to create a beautiful public space.

Walk the whole thing (sunset = best). If its night time, look for the exhibitionists Doing Their Thing in the windows of the Standard Hotel. Sit in sunken mini-theater (you'll know it when you see it)
