    don't be afraid of the haggis! it's pretty good and, if anything, pretty mild. dig into their scotch book (it really is as long as a book) and get at least one scotch egg.

    Though a very cool place, Highlands can be noisy and crowded during a weekend night. Be sure to reserve a table ahead of time and for a quieter ambiance, try to get a table on the back room.

    Try the Innis & Gunn beer on tap. Originally developed in Edinburgh to flavor barrels for cask reserve whiskey. Turns out throwing away beer is not something us Scots are good at, thus oak aged beer!
