Despite having only opened in 2010, this downtown cafe—which focuses on "organic teas, mountain-inspired tea cuisine and tea hooch"—is as quintessential Kentucky as it gets.

Had the ham and sweet potato hash with fried eggs and the basil tea - recommended by the server and was the perfect post wedding/ pre flight to NYC brunch. Liked sitting upstairs, too.

If you love Chai, this is the place for you. Their chai is my favorite. Every time I come into town for the Kentucky Derby, Kyle (the marvelous manager) loads me up with as much Chai as I can carry!

Such a cute place and great tea soda! The tea plank was sort of strange... Don't really recommend it but the soup was amazing!

Try the White Bean And Sage Fritters - To make a good fritter is impressive. These are light, flavorful, & savory. The home made tartar makes it over the top.

There's a heavy dose of hipster irony, sure, but the menu transcends gimmicks; there's fine food coming out of this hillbilly kitchen. We love the catfish sandwich!

Catfish, awesome, string beans, awesome, cheese plate, awesome, corn pone, awesome, tea, awesome, etc. People working there were so "southern hospitality". Will be returning often.

The biscuits and local honey are unreal. For a safe choice go with the chai tea - nothing too adventurous but it's awesome.

The outside seating is great. Expect a slower pace atmosphere as well as slower service. Food is delicious but slightly pricy considering portion size

Small serving sizes by some standards but the food is very tasty. Tea selection a bit thin but this is more of a hipster hangout than a tea house in my opinion.
