You can't drive to the lighthouse. Walk the beach, take your own watercraft, or catch the ferry that runs hourly. Check the lighthouse website to see where the ferry is running from and dates/times.

Only open on certain dates, usually 1-2 Saturdays per month. When they are open you can climb to the top, although you can't really see the lens.

A historical lighthouse on a cove. There's a park nearby and a soon to open small museum.

Hillsboro Lighthouse, also known as “Big Diamond,” is the brightest lighthouse in the world. It has a second-order bivalve Fresnel lens that emits a light measuring 5.5 mega-candles.

Waited long for a letter? See the Barefoot Mailman Statue, which pays tribute to the 6 days route along the beach to deliver mail in the 1800s.

My favorite half way spot on long bike rides. One of South Florida's most beautiful and picturesque scenes.

К самому маяку не пускают, потому что он находится на территории частного гольф-клуба, но на него можно посмотреть с другого берега. Говорят, раз в месяц его открывают для посетителей на своих лодках
