Ideally located just 30 minutes from central London with access to the M23 and M25 motorways, the Hilton London Gatwick Airport hotel has a covered walkway linked to the South Terminal. The North Terminal is also just moments away, allowing optimum convenience for your journey.
Lunch menu should have more options such pasta etc... But overal nice food and clean
Wifi gratis en el hall
So convenient for the airport. Comfortable bed. Room 7029 is in the new wing and was very comfy.
There are a lot of rooms here, a gym, a Costa, a restaurant and a bar. Staff don't seem too helpful when providing instructions to find your way around.
Relies on the name a bit too much
Top class :) x
Could really do with trollies for shifting bags from outside up to reception
Easy access to South Terminal and short term parking.
Can't get a closer hotel to Gatwick- covered walkway links you in less than 5 mins
New rooms are wonderfully quiet once you figure out how to turn off the aircon, decorated beautifully & comfortable.
Small bathroom. No separate shower. Rooms look dated. But as you will only be here for a night before your flight it's ok
A very convenient hotel at Gatwick Airport. Usual Hilton standard - comfortable rooms and good amenities. Only one gripe - my usual one about the WiFi which is charged for even in the lobbies & bars!
The food isn't all that.
If you walk in that corridor your fine and your room will be great !!!
I could complain about the drinks prices but instead I'll complain about the lack of free wifi. That sucks.
Booked a HHonors Rewards double room.. Ended up w 3 beds! No complimentary wifi though, £14.95! Rubbish! But people should quit their bitching about here, it's quite nice. :)
Nice dinner before we leave London.
Stayed in the refurbished rooms, great nights sleep and rooms. Perfect for South Terminal as walkway through and included valet parking which was cheaper than booking directly with airport.
Nice friendly staff, ice cold Pinot Grigio and large clean rooms! What more could you want!
Tip#1. Up grade your room to the new wing. #2. Request for a another blanket because the beds are very firm. #3.Order the pizza if you're on a budget because they're two meals in one.
Stay in the new wing if you can. Better, spacious rooms
Renewed rooms are very pleasant and quiet.
Amy Restaurant is very good! Go for the upgrade to executive room for free drinks and food at the executive lounge: sleeping alone? U can invite one person to the lounge!
We at Holiday Extras are a big fan of Amy's Restaurant too! We have a link to their wonderful menu...see for yourself!
Stay at the yotel - not fancy but a decent room and you get what you booked
Watch out for the crap service... Booked a double and got a single... How is that right?
Handy if you are flying from Gatwick, need a bed & acceptable coffee
Good location shocking service
No Complementary Water, Beds were like sleeping on planks of wood.
Happy hour at 6pm :-)
Bar serves a great Costa Coffee
Bar stays open until 2am if there are people around. Serves a decent Costa Coffee
If you can ask for a room in the new tower. Rooms are lovely. Robes in the bathroom. Safe. Hair dryer. Flat screen tv. Quiet and spacious. Very very nice. Great refurbishments.
Very impressed with this hotel. Great service. Nice rooms. Good size bathroom and bath. If I need an airport stay I'll definitely be back!
Hiring Captains on Boeing 737 NG aircraft! Calling all interested candidates to attend our road shows starting June 14, 2011:
Awful room with noisy hum from boiler. Overpriced and no better than a Travelodge. Will avoid in future
The lounge is a great place to kick back and enjoy the evening or work during your travel.
Garden Bar is very expensive! Stay clear
Stay away today - computer system down...long lines to check in. Go somewhere else!
Rooms are very plain, at least on the 2nd floor
Upgrade your room, the separate shower is worth it!
