Just ten minutes' walk from the West End and Oxford Street and a ten minute tube ride from London Westfield Shopping Centre, the Hilton London Metropole offers the ideal location.
Really Hilton? You can do better than this... Lounge area wi-fi
Location and friendly staff !
Very good executive lounge !
Space in public areas
Hotel location is good but the rooms are small and does not look clean. Even the executive floor and isnot the way it should be. Employees said executive floor has new decoration but needs renovation
Breakfast is moderate
Close to metro station. Very old room.
90er hotel - ved at være lidt "træt"
Great but you can feel the difference between 4 stars and 5 stars
No type this time for sleep 😴
By a long stretch far from the best Hilton in London, but OK. Make sure to get a room in the west wing though. Personally, I would choose another Hilton.
Well located but needs renovation. Very helpful east european girls on reception
Get online deals rather than paying the walk-in rate. Predictably expensive bar. Bit tired but convenient.
I would not stay in the east wing. It is old and windows don't open.
For that price I expected more. The room was not ready when I try to checking in. The breakfast room looks like a cantina.
dont pay for their wifi, its hopeless. cant even upload pictures that you want to post.
Breakfast at Fiamma Restaurant is just amazing!
pricing is finde, very nice service. Hotels name is more shiny then the rooms. Looks like grandma did it.
Considerablly small rooms and toilets, don't get attracted by the lobby. Avoid!!
Everything you need is in walking distance... great restaurants, grocery stores, Boots drug stores, coffee shops, pubs. This location had a very strong Middle Eastern feel w/interesting restaurants.
Close to Marylebone station and Marble Arch .. Busy lobby always
Awesome view nice staff although expensive the wifi is £15 per day
Ask for a room in the East wing.
Well, the view from 4th floor Tower wing is not something I would call gorgeous.
Nice staff but the hotel was a little beat up
Great base for exploring all that London has to offer on foot, a Hilton offering plenty of 'bang for your buck'.
I like Hiltons...
A nice hotel; recommend the refurbished rooms in the west wing
Perfect hotel except for WIFI which is 15£ per day
Wifi is so slow and breakfast is fake eggs and expensive. Nice view of London and comfy beds.
Nice location next to Edgeware tube station and close to Paddington.
Good breakfast buffet but show up early. West tower is a long walk. Don't buy water / snacks in hotel (£££) - walk out on the street & pick any shop.
Location is great. 2 mins. From paddington station.
Very bad experience! Bad service!
Going from the further wing to the front desk is like running a marathon.
The West wing of the hotel is far superior to the East wing.
I was in a Superior room so the view was great with its floor-to-ceiling windows! Really nice hotel!
Top model worldwide 2014
Can't check in before 3pm. Far from ideal after spending the previous night in the plane
This hotel of Hilton has just the name ! Do not take a standard room cause is very cheap. Better to go somewhere else...
Great trio of mini burgers. But they are a bit mini. Could do with being a bit bigger.
They charge £5/night for Sky, which just isn't worth it. Don't fall into the trap!
I had food poisoning after having dinner at this place. And it was just an ordinary dinner!!! Don't recommend anyone to eat there!!!
Localization: very close to the tubestation. Security: it's Hilton not a small hotel.. Stay out all day long, or go to Paris for one night and leave your things in your room safely...
The sports bar downstairs is just awful and crazy expensive. Get your drinks elsewhere or buy your booze at a grocery store around the corner. I do mean CRAZY EXPENSIVE!
Edgeware Station is closed until December 2013. Don't stay here if you're counting on the Tube station being across the street.
Great hotel when you get a refurbished room, otherwise better stay away.
Also, I want to add that you must visit the bar on the 23rd floor (amazing view) and grab a bite at the lobby bar. The hotel was not the best I've ever been to, but it certaintly was very good.
I liked it. Good rooms (not always clean though), good breakfast. The receptionists were really helpful. Ask them for a way to not wait at the queues at museums and stuff and you will remember me.
