The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is located in the heart of downtown New Orleans, only 4 short blocks to the French Quarter, steps from iconic dining and entertainment options, and adjacent to the Port of New Orleans cruise terminal...
River view rooms are good for watching the big ships make the bend in the Mississippi
Good proximity to Harrahs, riverfront and Grodon Biersch. Bad is the closeness to the trains passing by.
The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is located in the heart of downtown New Orleans
Awful place for a conference. Shitty slow paid wifi. Figure out the rewards club network password and you're golden.
Nice hotel. Nothing exceptional from what you would expect.
Nice Hotel in the Business District. 10min walk to Bourbon Street. Make sure to get the Charbroiled Oysters at Drago's.
Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. But WHY do I have to pay for wifi when I can go to other cheaper Hilton brands and get wifi for free??
Perfectly located. French Quarter is easily walkable. A streetcar stop right outside the hotel. Our city view room facing the west had beautiful sunsets.
Great location clean place
room service may take a while, keep that in mind when ordering. Ask for a room close to an elevator or lobby - the hotel is enormous.
Wonderful for convention. Really friendly staff.
Nice hotel and comfortable beds. Good breakfast downstairs café.
Bed is comfortable ! room smells slight mildewy: feels damp. Cant open window even a cracked 2 get air flow.view of a track.market way overpriced. room was nice. Not the best, not the worse
Rooms with atrium view are kind of noisy. Beds are really comfy! Slept like a baby. Be careful with coffee makers....
Our Antebellum South journey begins with a one-night stay here, a mere 4 blocks away from the renowned French Quarter. Experience New Orleans, from the traditional Southern oaks of City Park.
Best place to kick off a great ride ! Hail iris !
Room smelled like smoke. Water goes from scorching to cold. Housekeeping doesn't refill coffee. TRAIN WAKES YOU UP AT 3, 4, 5 AM! 4 strikes, you're wayyy out.
Do not let them put you in building 2. The train will keep you up.
Walk in, walk out, then walk over to the Westin.
If you're here for a special event in one of the ballrooms, get the bread pudding! It's magnifique!!!
Great hotel. Start w/Drago's oysters and you're off to play.
I like the decore. They have a classy style with some nice New Orleans inspired art
Loved the friendly service at the bar and the deinks were good.
Register as a Hilton Honors member. I got a great view of the river and free high speed wifi.
Great visit so far!
AT&T customers this is a Wi-Fi hot spot for us...Whoop Whoop!!
Great Hotel. Staff is friendly and elevators are fast. Across from Harrah's and about 15min to the Qtr. Valet is $45 and Self is $35.
2 Poydras St (at Convention Center Blvd.), New Orleans, LA
Internet is $15/day...seriously? I thought WiFi was standard these days!
Do not stay here!!! For 200/ night, it is a huge let down!! Internet access SUCKS!
Loved being here for the proximity to the convention center. Food is a bit overpriced and the complimentary food in the executive lounge leaves a lot to be desired, esp for breakfast.
They messed up every reservation in our wedding block. Think twice before holding big events here. The rooms are nice but house cleaning knocks at 8am
You can't go wrong with this Hilton; clean & modern, as you'd expect. Good location, ~5-7 min walk to Bourbon St. Note that while next to the convention center, is still a 10 min walk to the entrance.
View from 25th floor
Have to pay $12 for the gym...
Ride the glass-walled elevator to the top for a great view. Worth the 30-second detour.
Good luck getting concierge to help you.
Bring your own bottled water or. whatever else you need in your room. Snacks too.
4/25/2103 - The Dirty Dozen Brass Band at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation Gala
Don't pay for the upgrade... Not worth it. Ask for free
$12 to use the health facility, on top of the already high room rate?
This place is awesome
You need a map to get around this hotel.
Breakfast is $$$$$ - really not worth it
The building is set up really weird and as always the gift shop is way overpriced.
Negs: No cold water out of the faucet, horrible bark like toilet paper, and the AC did not work well. Pos: great bar and restaurant area and really close to the action.
Pretty good hotel for business. Wifi worked well. Starbucks in lobby made a decent latte. Walkable to convention center, French Quarter, Superdome & Arena.
Wifi is free. No robes :(
